Croud Launched International Localization Report 2022
Croud has launched its new report exploring global attitudes towards localization: International Localization Report 2022.
The report features a survey of 1,600 people across France, Germany, China, and Japan, as well as a quantitative analysis of companies across finance, software, and retail sectors, to explore the realities of brand localization across these markets.
The pandemic has accelerated the global shift to digital, and as a result, over the past 18 months, Croud’s seen countless brands transform their online approach.
Others, such as Amazon and UberEats, have maximized global opportunity and successfully delivered localization at scale.
This survey found that 57% of respondents had experienced language or cultural issues when using a brand’s localized site, while 24% said that these findings would make them less likely to purchase from the brand as a result.
Featuring insights from Chris Ford, Croud’s Head of CRO, and Izzie Xu, Croud’s Head of Localization, this report addresses how websites affect the overall view of a brand, what shapes consumer digital journeys, and decision making processes, and how localization impacts the online customer journey.
