The key output from the role will be working closely with UK based Senior Account Managers with activation, strategy and planning for execution of high-performance media campaigns. Separately, the role will also act as a support function for the launch of our US services, which will include a wide variety of tasks including office administration, new business, partner relationships and recruitment.
Requirements

Responsibilities
Paid Media

Be the local representative of ROAST paid media for our US-based client set, attending client meetings, developing client relationships, responding to questions and queries.
Work closely with UK Senior Account Managers and Department Leads to ensure all accounts have a performance strategy.
Contribute to wider client planning workflows
Responding to briefs with the support of other ROAST media teams
Regular review and assessment of tools, partners and technologies that will help improve quality and effectiveness
Guide marketing strategies based on local knowledge of customer needs and US specific landscapes.
Collaborate with creative and content teams to ensure ad content is as relevant as possible for the market.
Lead day-to-day communication with US clients where required.
Future line management of junior staff as the team expands.
Growth & New Business

Support the new business process for US-based leads, including support on initial calls, taking of briefs and presenting of responses.
To work with the Departmental Heads across a range of tasks to further the scale, capabilities and quality of the ROAST offering, including:Recruitment

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Senior Project Manager to join our growing project management team. You will have an excellent understanding of how to manage people and resources efficiently and effectively. You will oversee all touch-points throughout the projects, including timelines, budgets, schedules, assets, and communication. What You'll Do:

  • You demonstrate great communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
  • You will scope and manage complex digital projects for global technology brands, leading B2B companies, and ambitious startups
  • Ability to process information quickly as well as deliver it in a concise manner in both small and large group settings
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, facilitate rapid changes in real-time, and prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively
  • A fundamental understanding of web design, user experience, graphic design, motion graphics, and content creation
  • Serve as a strategic leader from project kick-off to delivery, advocating for both client and user needs
  • Lead discussions and presentations, conveying the power and thought behind design decisions

  • 5+ years of experience at a leading digital agency
  • Experience managing scopes, timelines, schedules, financials, and resourcing for projects
  • Proven track record of managing complex digital projects ranging from $500K+

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Identify efficiencies and challenges to improve processes on future projects

  • We are a distributed team of Designers, Developers, Strategists, and Producers across the USA and beyond
  • If you prefer an office to work from, our HQ is in downtown San Jose, CA
  • Working hours? We operate within the Pacific Standard time zone and from time to time, you will be required to accommodate PST time for team and client collaboration

The Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing client relationships that promote retention, growth, and loyalty. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Be a strategic partner to our clients
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact
  • Manage client expectations and strategies from inception to delivery
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure engagements maintain company margin goals
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Establish and implement the Account Management department roadmap
  • Client onboarding, support, adoption, advocacy, retention, renewals, and up-sells
  • Foster collaboration within the team and across marketing verticals
  • Manage client services outcomes to increase retention rates and reduce churns
  • Partner with internal teams to effectively solve client problems and provide strategies
  • Expand revenue in accounts through cross-selling and up-sell opportunities
  • Own the client upsell and renewal process from end to end
  • Achieve assigned upsell goals
  • Influence client’s lifetime value through customer satisfaction, loyalty, and overall NPS performance
  • Drive new business growth through greater advocacy and reference-ability
  • Lead client check-in calls & QBRs
  • Manage client listening points through surveys, Executive Sponsor sync calls, exit surveys, and more
  • Coach production teams through pre-call syncs, on-call feedback, post-call syncs, and consistent identification of growth opportunities for the entire account team

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or Account Executive in a digital marketing advertising agency supporting franchise clients
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels such as Paid Search, SEO
  • Have a drive to learn and grow in digital marketing knowledge and skills continuallys
  • Experience with B2B & B2C clients
  • Franchise or multi-location marketing experience
  • Strong sales and client growth skills
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time
  • Proven ability to build rapport with clients and problem-solve effectively
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with internal teams and assist sales with presentations and proposals
  • Proactive in identifying business development opportunities and maintaining industry knowledge
