Calvin Klein, founded in 1968, is celebrating 50 years of service, and is doing so with a limited-edition collection and the sexy, star-studded campaign including A$AP Rocky, Kendall Jenner, Troye Sivan and Biebers who just wed to an incredible ceremony.
The social media-rocking anniversary campaign #CK50 show cases the brand’s compilation, including a mix of underwear, T-shirts, sweatshirts, pants and dresses, some of which are covered with black-and-white with CK50 monograms.
The video takes viewers through iconic moments and styles of the past five decades, from space to the digital age. Recent newlyweds Justin and Hailey Bieber, appearing in their first campaign together, sit in matching CK50 underwear sets and watch the US launch a 1969 Apollo 11 rocket to the moon.
The other celebrities including A$AP Rocky, Kendall Jenner, Troye Sivan, Liu Wen, Parker Van Noord and Rebecca Leigh Longendyke, make appearances in the video as well, all sporting the limited edition clothing. The song features are just cool as the set up as well. “That’s the way Kendall Jenner and A$AP Rocky likes it,” like The Sunshine Band from 70s as they crash a disco. In another scene, the Biebers dance and rock the campaign to EMF’s “Unbelievable,” a throwback to the iconic CK campaign featuring Kate Moss and Mark Wahlberg.
The campaign captures the rebellious spirit that has shaped the brand over the last 50 years, CK shares in a statement.
The campaign, created in-house and photographed by fashion photographer Glen Luchford, will roll out on social with hashtags #CK50 and #MyCalvins as well in as digital and OOH placements. The items collection releases in October 15.
