TomTom Sports Launches Its Fitness App That Works With Its Wearables

The Dutch Telematics company, TomTom is announcing the launch of the new TomTom MySports mobile app today. The app is co-created by athletes and fitness app users.

Titled MySports, the app is not only bringing activity data, but also insights and motivation to all of its users. It will keep a record of all your different workouts, from running to skiing and let you see your personal scores and how you’re improving. The motivational app, generally gives you a better idea of your performance over time – and how to be even better.

The app also wants to know you better according to your personal information, and analyzes your fitness data, delivers activity trends and simply encourages you to #GetGoing and start to workout.

Let’s watch the video of the app, here:

MySports app is expected to become available by the end of January. The software is compatible with several of the company’s fitness trackers, such as Spark, Runner, Touch, Adventurer, and the Multi-sport wearable line.

Corinne Vigreux, Co-Founder and Managing Director at TomTom, says,

We have been creating wearables since 2009, and since then much has changed. The large amounts of data people now have access to, is overwhelming. What people really need in that moment where excuses beat conviction, is motivation and a better understanding of what works for them. With our new TomTom Sports app we turn data into insights to do just that. This launch marks the beginning of what will be a hugely exciting year for our brand in the world of sports.

You can and download the TomTom MySports app via Apple Store or Google Play Store.
