Promoting a television feature has never been done this way before. Panasonic seeks to show the cinematic features of its new product, 4K HD in the “Hollywood to your Home” ad. It features a wide range of file genres ranging from dramas to action and noir thrillers to science fiction.
In the film, the same actress stars all four genres: a masquerade ball, a heroine of a noir thriller, a superhero- hopping between skyscrapers and an astronaut.
For the ad, Brave teamed with Benjamin Kratzin and Christopher Schlierf of Framestore Pictures, aka. Directors Duo. It was shot in 4K, mastered in HDR and each scene is designed to demonstrate specific features of the product’s picture quality. So, customers can actually bring “Hollywood to their Homes”.
Liam Fenton, Creative Director at Brave, commented in a statement,

The campaign launches online and in-stores throughout U.K.and Europe, and is also displayed as a TVC, in New Zealand.
This is like watching the trailer of your favorite TV shows that you’ve waited for too long to come, all at once. Excellent job by Panasonic to introduce 4K technology in this way!
