Christopher Nolan’s “Dunkirk” Now Has Its Own VR Experience

Dunkirk hit the movie theaters last Friday, and was promoted with an immersive WebVR game which has gained more attention that the movie itself.

One of the most best-known directors of Hollywood for action movies such as Memento, The Prestige, Inception, The Dark Knight trilogy, Interstellar, and more, Christopher Nolan is now back in action with his latest film, Dunkirk.

The World War II period film is released with its own VR experience called “Save Every Breath”. The marketing efforts includes a 4 minute-long trailer and a WebVR game which can be played in multi-player version.

Here’s the office movie 360° trailer:

Warner Brothers worked with the Google Chrome VR team, Google Zoo and a digital experience studio, Jam3 to create the multi-player game. The experience will take the fans straight “to each of the movie’s three key perspectives – land, sea and air,” and is now available for the Oculus, HTC Vive and Samsung Gear VR.

Save Every Breath also works in the Chrome web browser, on mobile or with WebVR- supporting headsets including Daydream and Google Cardboard.
