Amit Khanna Joins Croud as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions
Croud is thrilled to welcome Amit Khanna as their newly-appointed Head of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) to bolster the next stage of growth for the business.
Amit brings more than 15 years’ experience in investment and corporate law. Having worked for international firms such as Baker McKenzie and Charles Russell Speechlys, Amit’s roles have included executing venture capital investments, joint ventures at a family office, and most recently leading the early-stage equity investing strategy at sports and music financier 23 Capital.
In his new role as Croud’s Head of M&A, Amit will be responsible for Croud’s end-to-end M&A activity across all global markets, with a particular focus on the UK and the US, where Croud has seen exponentially growing interest in their unique Croudie Network model.
Luke Smith, CEO and co-founder of Croud, said of the appointment:
We’re on a great growth trajectory organically as a business in all our markets. Alongside that, and also because of it, we have a plan to further bolster that growth with acquisitions. Amit will be a key part of making that happen; his previous association with the business made him the ideal choice.

Joining Croud in this new role is a bit of a homecoming for me; I completed my MBA placement here almost 10 years ago. It’s incredible to see just how much the business has grown and evolved since then.
The last year has really shown the value of the Croudie Network, and it’s clear that Luke and Ben’s early bets on pioneering this new way of work have paid off. I’m excited to explore new acquisition opportunities for the business and to identify the businesses that we know will turbocharge Croud’s already enviable client offerings.
