Continuing its Open Your City campaign Heineken has released a stylish and amusing spot, titled “The Insider”.
The latest global film for Heineken celebrates true city insiders. Following last summer’s Cities of the World campaign, which aimed to inspire men to unlock the secrets of their urban backyard, The Insider encourages men to share their city’s hidden gems with others.
In this new ad from Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam, a dapper young man hijacks a tour guide’s authority and takes them on an unforgettable journey, an experience that radically changes their trip. Those include, naturally, a masquerade hidden in crypts beneath the city, with guests wearing plague doctor masks. The spot, directed by MJZ’s Danta Ariola, is pretty much the dream scenario for any tourist in Paris.
A fast-paced journey, the group ride vintage scooters through Montmartre, get into a hidden party down in the Catacombs and end where everybody should when traveling to Paris, on the stage of a Cancan show.
