WEIR+WONG Launched Robot Club At Tooting Primary School In South London

WEIR+WONG launched Robot Club at Tooting Primary School in South London.

Robot Club is an innovative and technological project for schoolchildren by WEIR+WONG.

These are weekly workshops where children are separated into teams to work.  The two teams create robots which react to sound, by waving their arms and flashing their lights.

Using LittleBits – award-winning electronic building blocks that are suitable for kids use and are color-coded, magnetic and reusable – each team works out the basic elements that make up a circuit, before designing and building their robots.

Let’s have a look at the Robot Club here:

In the video, children are building robots with provided materials. While getting integrated with technology and future, kids are also developing manipulative and creative skills.

Additionally when the robots are moving and flashing light, kids become more imaginative and insightful.
