Airbnb’s Halloween Contest Lets You Stay In Dracula’s Castle

Want to do some trick-or-treat this Halloween? Then you better join Airbnb’s giveaway trip to Dracula’s Castle in Transylvania.

If you dare to sleep in the Bran Castle, this Halloween is a good time. The home-sharing company Airbnb gives two guests the chance to win a free flight to Romania, let them wine and dine, and left alone to spend the night in the castle’s red-velvet coffins just as Dracula did.

Offering this creepy experience as the grand prize in a Halloween contest, Airbnb’s prize includes no internet, no cable TV or anything else, but only dinner. Two winners will be greeted in the castle and the winners will be free to explore through 57 rooms and all other areas in the castle. Bu of course, “Unexpected guests have been known to come knocking in the moonlit hours.”

The host of the event is Dacre Stoker, the great grand-nephew of Bram Stoker, author of the legendary Dracula novel.

The global contest runs until October 26. To enter, you need to sign into Airbnb and click on ‘enter to win’. Then you’ll have to write a short message explaining what you’d say to the Count “if you were to come face-to-face with him in his own castle.”

Then if the winners survive the night, breakfast is served on the castle terrace at sunrise.
