Moving the Website of a Healthcare Logistics Company Forward

The Opportunity

Managing the transportation and coordination involved in delivering test results, equipment, medications, and specimens is an expensive undertaking for the majority of hospitals and healthcare organizations in the United States. With more healthcare networks expanding, the operation of these deliveries can quickly become inefficient and chaotic. Using proprietary technology, MedSpeed takes this burden off hospitals by establishing a centralized system with a dedicated fleet of drivers and vehicles that follow mapped-out, optimized routes.

This is the core message eDesign Interactive were tasked to highlight in MedSpeed’s new website redesign. As a B2B company, it was also important to create a website that captures the human side of the business, highlighting the real people at MedSpeed who care deeply about handling important deliveries. Their work has a huge impact on the community and helps reduce operating costs while improving the speed, accuracy, and accountability of the entire healthcare network.

What eDesign Interactive Did

eDesign Interactive aimed to visually showcase MedSpeed’s fantastic services by including unique iconography and scrolling animations. It was important to illustrate that MedSpeed acts as a strategic partner to hospitals and healthcare systems, but they also wanted to demonstrate that they support independent labs, pharmacy clients, and home healthcare businesses. Having a navigation that segments these audiences was critical to reach all potential customers the company can serve. As soon as visitors land on the homepage, they can see in seconds, through video and bold statements, that MedSpeed in the business of healthcare and logistics.


The website design is clean and simple. The user experience emphasizes visual storytelling. They advertise who MedSpeed is, their services, and the people working behind the brand. eDesign Interactive also created engaging animations and graphics that illustrate the advantages of using MedSpeed.

The website is also built to prioritize lead generation and finding new customers, but another part of their role was to attract new talent by emphasizing the company’s mission and culture. Their goal was to inform people that MedSpeed is hiring across the country with a “Join Our Team” tab at the top of the page.

How It Went

The design is elegant and light, and eDesign Interactive’s client loves their new website.

The site is built on WordPress, making it very easy for the team to create and upload content. MedSpeed has a large blog section with engaging news, articles, and resources. The team is posting regular updates to advance their SEO strategy and to keep growing organically.

eDesign Interactive have an ongoing support and enhancement plan in place, providing a few hours of design and development assistance, but also dedicated hours for their Digital Marketing experts to provide SEO and analytics reports each month.
