We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Social Media & Digital Manager to join our Bournemouth team. You will be working alongside our account managers, directors, developers, designers and digital marketing specialists to plan, develop and execute social media and digital strategies across relevant platforms on behalf of our high profile clients.

You will have proven experience in managing paid, owned and earned social media campaigns and delivering impactful results for clients. This role would suit someone looking to expand their experience and skills, take ownership for delivering world-class work and being part of a creative and collaborative environment.

Job Title: Social Media & Digital Manager
Location: Bournemouth, UK
Salary: Negotiable and based on skills and experience
Hours of work: 37.5 hrs per week
Experience: Mid-Senior level (minimum 3 years experience)

Key tasks:

• Plan, devise and implement social media and digital strategies across relevant platforms
• Produce client digital strategy and audit documents
• Manage multiple digital campaigns and day-to-day activities, including paid media activity
• Demonstrable experience with email marketing, PPC, lead generation and SEO
• Develop website traffic plans and create goals and benchmarks to meet
• Produce social content plans, managing any photo/video shoots as required with the creative team
• Manage blogger outreach/influencer programmes and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about Crowd and our clients
• Optimise websites and social media channels for SEO as well as usability
• Set and monitor KPIs measuring the impact of social media and digital strategies, analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns
• Create and execute email campaign plans to engage with our clients and prospects on a regular basis
• Regularly feedback insights gained from social media monitoring to evolve strategies in a timely fashion
• Monitor developments in social media/digital tools, trends and applications
• Attend pitches and be active in client meetings, building good relationships
• Increase client spend through well thought out concepts and execution
• Support on proposals for new and existing clients
• Contribute to ideas and creative workshops with the team
• Work with the web development team to ensure social media and digital tools are kept up to date
• Become an advocate of Crowd and its clients in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate

Key Skills / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required
• Experience in managing paid, owned and earned social media/digital campaigns across multiple platforms
• Excellent grasp of the social/digital media landscape and website metrics and best practices
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• Comfortable with data, metrics, and analytics, with experience jumping between the creative and analytical sides of marketing within a fast-paced environment
• Strategic thinker and decision maker
• Passionate about social media and the digital landscape; taking initiative to keep on top of latest updates and trends
• Experience with social media content management and reporting tools
• Confident in dealing with a variety of stakeholders (external and internal) at all organisational levels
• Enthusiastic, energetic, can-do attitude
• Highly organised and able to handle multiple deadline driven projects and workflows
• Flexibility to be able to quickly adapt and respond to changing situations
• High attention to detail
• Agency-side experience would be an advantage but not mandatory
• Google Analytics, Adwords and Search certified is a plus
• Fluent in English, and other languages is a plus
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript is a plus but not essential
• Knowledge of WordPress is preferable but not essential
