Despite being 100% digital since 2001, Distinction’s previous site did not represent them well enough. The agency has changed significantly over the last 3 years, and this led to an internal evaluation of their values, strategic positioning and proposition.
After this review period that lasted three months, Distinction team identified the website as a key area that needed refreshing. The content, photography and structure of the existing site was reviewed and evaluated.
The technology stack was reviewed, and changed to a headless cloud based technology – Kentico Cloud.
Since 2004, Kentico has been helping digital agencies deliver successful projects to their clients—from small brochure sites to global CMS deployments in Fortune 500 companies.
Creatively, many agency websites look very similar, so Distinction wanted to push themselves to put something out that they felt was different to lots of competitors.
Differentiation and uniqueness are difficult to articulate in the digital space, with so many agencies offering the same services in a similar way. The team have shared that they wanted to push the boundaries to stand out.
In addition to engaging with prospective clients, they also wanted to make sure that the site embodied the spirit of what it’s like to work at Distinction.
Distinction say that their team and office are inspirational, and they wanted to promote that to continue to attract the best talent.
