In collaboration with Leo Burnett, McDonald’s 3rd #ReindeerReady Christmas commercial exists in a little girl’s imagination.
This year’s journey is about Ellie who is at home and willing to play a game of ‘reindeers’ with her older sister Jenny however, only she is not interested in playing games with her sister.
And upset at her sister’s reaction, Ellie then heads out, and soon meets Archie the Reindeer, and the two begin to play and become closest friends! When Ellie runs out of ‘Reindeer Treats’ to give to Archie, she told her dad, and the whole family gets going to McDonalds’ Drive-Thru.
Ellie’s Dad orders ‘Reindeer Treats’, and the scene switches to reality, where we discover that Archie is in fact Ellie’s dog, dressed up in a tutu.

The brand also launches an Archie the Reindeer storybook which will be available in ebook and audiobook version, and will be accompanied by an AR app.
