Crowd Is Export Ambassadors Again!

Emma Glazier, Head of Marketing and Crowd’s CEO and founder of Crowd, Jamie Sergeant have been chosen for the second time as part of the South West England Export Champions initiative!

This is the third cohort of Southern England Export Champions, which includes individuals from companies across the South East, South West, and East of England.

After the pandemic, export is now even more of a crucial part of worldwide economic recovery and growth. Many companies struggle with the fear of expanding into exporting, despite being aware of the benefits that may be gained for their business.

As part of the Department of International Trade’s 2018 strategy, Export Champions were introduced as a key part to helping deliver their ambition to encourage and inspire businesses that can export but have not started.

An Export Champion is a cherry-picked individual who has previously worked with the Department for International Trade and has been successful in exporting their products, services or taking their customers worldwide.

With an HQ in Bournemouth and a global team that works together across markets to develop and deliver practical and successful marketing solutions, Crowd makes a great candidate.

There is a strong export champion community which has become especially important throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and the end of the EU Transition Period. Export Champions have been able to use their extensive networks within the business community to share vital Government information and support.
