Crowd 2021 Highlights!

2021 has been a unique year for everyone and Crowd has been proud of its team of digital marketing experts for adapting and excelling once again.

To kick off 2022, they have been reflecting on their highlights of 2021.

New Team Members!

Throughout the pandemic, Crowd has been expanding its team worldwide. Crowd has great new talent joining them and look forward to seeing how Crowd will develop. Brett Magill also rejoined their team as their Digital Performance Manager, leading all digital media planning and buying projects. It’s great to have him back!

Crowd’s Virtual Events Platform

When the first lockdown started, in-person events stopped overnight. So to continue engaging with their clients, staff, and customers, businesses and organizations had to get to grips with virtual event technology fast or lose out.

To help make the transition easier, Crowd created GoDigitalExpo – a virtual event platform created from the ground-up designed to make virtual events accessible for all. Since creating the platform, Crowd has rolled it out successfully for several clients worldwide including the UK Government.

New Head of the US Office

Deepa has now taken over their US office. An ironman triathlete and artist, Deepa is proving to be a fantastic asset to their global team.

First In-person Board Meeting

The pandemic has caused a lot of conversations and conferences to be adapted to the online world but finally, Crowd had their first in-person meeting in London in December. They had an all-day planning session, brainstorming ideas and the future of Crowd for 2022.

WebSummit

Crowd attended their first live event in a while; WebSummit in Lisbon for four days of meetings and inspiration with the tech industry’s best and leading thinkers.

Spain and Uber for Business

Crowd is really proud of their new client Uber for Business in Spain and Portugal. They have been helping U4B with paid campaigns and creative production in the UK and Germany.

Volunteer Work with Dorset Mind

In 2021 Crowd started helping mental health charity; Dorset mind. Their social team helps review their websites and their social channels. It has been a great project and have been really enjoying what they have been doing with them so far.

Crowd Talks Throughout 2021

Crowd was invited to speak at various talks, including Agency Growth Events, Content Marketing Virtual Summit, UK House in UAE, and more. Hosting events and partaking in talks is a great way for individuals in their team to showcase their expert knowledge on interesting topics and subjects.

The Annual Crowd Dip

Every year, the Crowd team does the chilly Christmas dip on Bournemouth beach. Crowd has been doing this tradition for a few years now and this year was not missed! See the video here.
