J On The Beach 2024
J On The Beach 2024, organised by YayYay Events, will take place on 8-10 May Malaga, Spain.
J On The Beach is an international rendezvous for developers, Data Scientists and DevOps around big data technologies. It is a purely technical conference with workshops and technical talks where top speakers will share the latest trends in technologies related to Big Data. In J On The Beach you will be able to upgrade your knowledge and skills about a vast range of topics: from data collection and
stream processing to architectures, from machine learning and microservices to artificial intelligence, container systems, and much more.
J On The Beach started in 2016 as an initiative of a few members from different tech communities and companies located in Málaga. Their aim was to gather all the tech communities present in the area together, to create direct access to the best practices, concepts and trends within the Big Data sector as well as to attract IT talent to the area.
J On The Beach took place with an annual frequency in the month of May, a strategic and cohesive choice to make sure that attendees could enjoy not only the conference itself, but also the anticipated beginning of summer in Costa del Sol, making it the essence of the event.

Nowadays, Málaga hosts one of the most important tech hubs in Southern Spain and is in continuous expansion in this field. Proudly representing and supporting its city’s growth, J On The Beach is now a 3-day event with 1 day dedicated to pre-conference workshops and 2 days of conference sessions on three different parallel tracks, as well as evening networking events open to all attendees and
speakers on every conference day.
Becoming increasingly more international, but without ever losing its Málaga vibe. From its first edition back in 2016 until the last edition in 2023, the event tripled its attendees and its success. One day was added to the original 2-days programme, while an exhibiting area for sponsors was created to enhance their closeness and support to this initiative. Throughout the years, standards were also elevated in the selection of top speakers and in the internationality of what started as a simple local event.
In 2024, on its 8th edition, J On The Beach aims at reaching 1000 attendees for what is going to be the biggest edition so far.
