As a Junior Website Developer at Cremarc, you will be instrumental in creating and maintaining WordPress websites for our diverse range of clients.

Your role will involve developing custom templates and blocks, ensuring responsive design, and implementing features that enhance user experience and meet client objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 1+ years
• Salary: £22-28k DOE + performance bonus
• Focus: Primarily WordPress sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain client’s websites, which are primarily built on WordPress or HubSpot, ensuring high performance and availability
• Customise WordPress themes and create new templates to meet client specifications
• Develop custom WordPress blocks and plugins using PHP, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
• Ensure all web pages are optimised for speed and follow web best practices
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure cohesive development and implementation of client projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to client’s sites
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and practices

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and PHP
• Previous experience working with WordPress sites, including creating custom templates and blocks
• Understanding of responsive web design and best practices for web development
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
