MBLM works with businesses in creating brands of every type and scale. Our studio is a diverse team that collaborates on brand identity, UI/UX, motion, video, and 3D design. Designers nurture brands from concept and strategy through to implementation, execution, ongoing management, and support. Senior Designers work with various MBLM team members and clients and/or partners and help with mentoring and training designers and interns.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating proprietary and compelling brand designs.
  • Refining and nurturing viable designs with client and peer input.
  • Manage and facilitate direct reports
  • Assisting with information gathering and the development of visual/verbal audits and brand assessments
  • Participating in the preparation of client presentations, including internal critiques and meetings
  • Coordinate and assist in directing photographers, suppliers and partners/vendors
  • Regularly communicating project progress to project managers and leaders, flagging issues that might affect the schedule and budget

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BFA a plus)
  • 4-6 years of related professional experience
  • Experience in corporate brand design
  • Available for full-time

Skills:

  • Advanced understanding of design, including brand identity, typography, layout, and color
  • Digital user experience or user interface design is a plus
  • Expert knowledge of Macintosh software including Adobe Creative Suite, iWork
  • Solid knowledge of print and/or digital production

We're seeking a versatile Content Creator who thrives both in front of and behind the camera. You'll be the face of NoGood and NoGood client’s brands, while also crafting the strategy, production, and post-production that brings your content to life. This role demands someone who can seamlessly shift between creating viral TikTok content and producing in-depth YouTube documentaries. You're a creator who understands that great content starts with great storytelling. You live and breathe internet culture, spotting trends before they peak and knowing how to adapt brand messaging for each platform's unique audience. You're comfortable being on camera while also having the technical chops to handle everything from lighting setup to final edit. You'll be instrumental in building our brand's digital presence and connecting with audiences in authentic, meaningful ways. You'll do:

Content Creation & Production
  • Develop and star in content across all major platforms: TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos
  • Own the complete production process: concept development, scripting, filming, editing, motion graphics, sound design, and publishing
  • Create content ranging from 15-second trend-reactive videos to 20-minute deep-dive explainers
  • Transform complex industry topics into engaging, accessible content that drives real business results
Strategy & Collaboration
  • Partner with our strategy and social media teams to develop monthly content calendars aligned with brand objectives and platform trends

We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a Growth Strategist to join our team. You will act as a CMO for some of our key clients. You must have a Growth Marketing background and have the right mix of analytical, creative and strategy chops in your DNA. Additionally, you must have experience with product and multiple marketing channels.

You'll Do:

  • Act as an on-demand CMO for some of our key brands
  • Own brand goals and growth metrics and report back on the client's/account business growth
  • Lead, plan, and managed growth marketing campaigns for assigned brands that drives new customer acquisition, and customer retention, and increased brand awareness across paid social, paid search/SEM, SEO, email, product, etc.
  • Proactively dig into client’s data to identify opportunities for testing and optimization across acquisition and retention channels
  • Execute project plans and deadlines to achieve all marketing objectives on time and within established budgets
  • Communicate progress and activities with the client and internal team
  • Manage and collaborate with internal and external team members to achieve overall client KPIs/ objectives

You Have:

  • A growth marketing superstar with 5+ years of proven experience in digital, performance marketing & product growth (experience in D2C or B2B Saas is a major plus)
  • 2+ years experience managing a team
  • Have owned full acquisition, demand, or lead generation funnel and reported back on performance
  • Strong experience with top-of-funnel and bottom of funnel (required to have experience in both)
  • Experience in owning 3rd party relationships and presenting results to business partners at all levels
  • Able to lead marketing campaigns end-to-end, own successes and learnings, and report back on strategic growth metrics
  • Tech and data-savvy with the ability to jump into Web Analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Data Visualization Platforms (such as Power BI, Data Studio, Tableau, etc) or even Excel and communicate a story with sound data
  • Have excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Have proven experience and a solid track record in managing Facebook Ads and Google Ads (must have managed big budgets)
  • Strong Project Management background is a major requirement
  • Marketing automation experience with Hubspot and/or Salesforce
  • Curious and always learning
  • Exceptional storyteller

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience working with Product, Data Science, and Performance marketing teams
  • 5+ years experience in Technical SEO and Content marketing
  • 2+ years experience in Product Marketing
  • Entrepreneurial/Self-starter experience with managing a team is a major plus
  • Have experience with Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, or another CDP
  • Having some front-end code experience
  • Strong analytics background (including basic understanding of databases, SQL, and Python) and knowledge of marketing analytics tools such as GA4, Mixpanel

Description:

At MBLM, motion graphics designers understand the importance of brands and the means by which they communicate. They work within the studio discipline and closely with other members of the team, from strategy to digital, to craft stronger emotional bonds between brands and their stakeholders. They solve design and production challenges to create videos that are conceptually strong, beautifully designed, and expertly executed. The motion graphics designer delivers hands-on efforts, servicing each of the projects that they are involved in while advancing the capabilities of the MBLM creative studio. The position is primarily focused on video-based storytelling for client and internal deliverables through motion graphics created with technical proficiency. Video editing is also a part of the role, and is required to sequence and edit longer motion pieces combined with music, voice-overs, and other effects. This position is focused on developing the necessary skill set to become a successful senior level motion designer with increasingly more team and client responsibilities. This role is in-person at MBLM’s New York office. Organizational status: reports directly to the design director

Responsibilities:

  • Design and animate motion graphics, including fully animated videos, typographic and vector graphic animations, 2D and 2.5D animations, multi-layered compositions, title sequences, bumpers, and more. These will be used for corporate videos, product videos, brand videos, internal case studies, social media clips, and other deliverables and will require incorporating diverse assets such as original footage, stock footage, 3D renders, static assets, and in-house graphics
  • Create storyboard scenes and animations through rough sketches or illustrations, based on scripts and video concepts
  • Assist in the creation of video scripts and video concepts based on client requirements, briefs, and creative interpretations of brand guidelines
  • Edit longer format scenes and compositions in nonlinear video editing software to combine individual motion graphics sequences with stock video assets, live footage, pre-made graphics, 3D renders and scenes
  • Cut and edit music and voice-over tracks to flow into videos: pay attention to pacing, timing, delivery, and clarity of audio, including beat-matching and recutting of audio to fit into new time durations and make basic audio corrections such as equalization, compression, and noise removal
  • Assist with the coordination of voice-over recordings and stock music selection
  • Create professional-level transitions, logo animations, and effects explorations
  • Create video files of various formats and compression ratios with knowledge of render and export settings, planning ahead to meet review and delivery deadlines
  • Manage MBLM’s video library on fileservers and online platforms; upload, copy, and deliver files to the appropriate people and places and maintain orderly, organized work files
  • Work with team members in other disciplines to coordinate components of production
  • Effectively present video productions and their components (storyboards, concepts, voice-overs and music choices) to clients
  • Continually communicate with managers about updates and status

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mass communications, film, editing, television production, educational media, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • 2-4 years of related professional experience with some of the experience in corporate video production
  • Experience in managing projects and timelines

Skills and Competencies:

  • A good team player with strong abilities to work with different team members in the studio and other disciplines
  • Able to produce quality products under tight deadlines
  • Able to work independently or with limited supervision
  • Flexible and open to working with existing defined content and design, and open to proposing improvements
  • Excellent editor skills with  knowledge of video production techniques and various video post production processes
  • Excellent editing and software skills and knowledge of the Adobe Editing Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, and iWork
  • Creative, flexible, and tech savvy
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines with consistency while demonstrating strong attention to detail
