Responsibilities
Paid Media

Be the local representative of ROAST paid media for our US-based client set, attending client meetings, developing client relationships, responding to questions and queries.
Work closely with UK Senior Account Managers and Department Leads to ensure all accounts have a performance strategy.
Contribute to wider client planning workflows
Responding to briefs with the support of other ROAST media teams
Regular review and assessment of tools, partners and technologies that will help improve quality and effectiveness
Guide marketing strategies based on local knowledge of customer needs and US specific landscapes.
Collaborate with creative and content teams to ensure ad content is as relevant as possible for the market.
Lead day-to-day communication with US clients where required.

Growth & New Business

Support the new business process for US-based leads, including support on initial calls, taking of briefs and presenting of responses.
To work with the Departmental Heads across a range of tasks to further the scale, capabilities and quality of the ROAST offering, including:Recruitment

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience writing ads for Google Ads copy
  • At least 1 year experience with Reddit, Facebook and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Experience in writing high-converting landing page copy
  • Experience writing copy for B2B and SaaS companies
    • Must provide examples of previous B2B/SaaS work and performance metrics (REQUIRED)
  • Experience with writing email copy
  • Experience with writing copy for images, PDFs and videos
  • Must know both the content and spec restrictions for Google, Facebook, Reddit, and LinkedIn Ads platforms
  • Experience optimizing copy for keywords.
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Must be available on Slack between 9 AM – 5 PM EST/EDT.
  • Ability to handle assignments with a 1-2 day turnaround.

  • Experience with Unbounce
  • Experience writing video scripts
  • Experience writing organic copy for LinkedIn & Reddit
  • Ability to analyze ad performance to determine best creatives.
  • Ability to conduct conversion optimization audits of websites/landing pages

Business Development Manager

Desirable

  • Familiarity with CRM tools, ideally Monday.com
  • Understanding of digital delivery processes — design, development, Agile

Duties

New Business Development – Primary Focus

  • Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities across inbound and outbound channels
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline across inbound and outbound channels
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers (Founders, Managing Directors, Heads of Digital/Marketing/Product)
  • Qualify leads and run discovery calls with support from the Founder where required
  • Coordinate and contribute to proposals, pitches, and pricing discussions
  • Own the sales process from initial contact through to contract signing
  • Track and report on pipeline activity, forecasts, and conversion metrics

Account Growth & Relationship Management – Secondary Focus

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Identify opportunities for additional work (retainers, new features, new platforms)
  • Support renewals, extensions, and repeat project engagements
  • Act as a commercial point of contact alongside delivery teams

Strategy & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Founder and Head of Marketing to refine positioning, service offerings, and target sectors
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and client needs
  • Help shape sales materials, case studies, and go-to-market messaging
