Fenti Marketing Successfully Deliver Ecommerce Website Build
The Brief
Progressive Safety contacted the Fenti Marketing team in late 2021, Progressive Safety contacted Fenti Marketing after a member of their own marketing team had worked with them with much success on a prior project. Having already established an exceptional reputation for their marketing services, Progressive Safety approached their team for their unique services, as they felt that one of their websites were underperforming, and in need of a revamp.
With exclusive trading rights, Progressive Safety are leading providers of JCB Workwear products, offering apparel suitable for a plethora of trade careers, including construction, electrical, plumbing and much more available across the UK. Offering workwear and accessories online and in-store to both tradesmen and the general public, they decided that they wanted to reinvent the JCB Workwear website to help improve their ROI, and reach out to new potential clients.
The whole team at Fenti were extremely excited to begin this new project; offering their fully comprehensive approach to provide the very best results possible. By brainstorming together, and analysing the pre-existing website for performance, look, feel and user experience, Fenti Marketing found that all of these aspects could be improved upon significantly.
With this in mind, Fenti and Progressive Safety collaborated closely together to develop a plan of action which encompassed their every need and requirement for an Ecommerce website build.
What Fenti Delivered
Together, Fenti scoped out a brand new website design developed through WordPress, improved the sitemap for better user experience, and created relevant landing pages with optimised primary and secondary keyword led content to assist with Google rankings. A main priority indicated by the client was to have an unrestricted backend CMS system, so that should the client wish to make changes such as adding, amending or removing products, they can do with ease and simplicity.
Successfully, Fenti were able to give the client’s brand a complete refresh, whilst also making sure that user experience is fixed safely at the heart of the project. Now with a fresh new image, expertly written content created by using professional SEO research, and Woocommerce for online shoppers, JCB Workwear have seen a significant rise in their ROI, as well as a major boost to both the performance and appearance of their website.
Testimonial
Fenti asked Progressive Safety’s Marketing Manager, Anna Topham, for her view on how they feel the web project with Fenti went, and what it was like to work with their team of professionals; here is what she had to say…
Our time with Fenti Marketing has been completely seamless; from initial point of contact, all the way to finalisation, the team made the entire process stress-free and simple. By collaborating, they were able to fully encompass very specific needs and requirements, taking any and all of our ideas into consideration, and quickly became a reliable part of the team. They were able to develop an extremely engaging and customer-friendly website, with a quick turnaround; always offering friendly and reliable advice whenever needed. At no point did Fenti disappoint, I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for comprehensive marketing solutions.

Fenti Created a Fresh Brand and Marketing Strategy for Prodek
How do you know when it’s time to refresh your brand? A common reason is inconsistency within the marketplace.
When you realize several customer touchpoints – physical and digital brand contact points – were overlooked during the last brand update.
Ben Ellis, Operations Manager of Prodek Design and Storage Systems Ltd., discovered inconsistent legacy branding across multiple Prodek touchpoints.
Ben Ellis says:
In late 2019, we were working on a strategy to build on successes in new sectors we had targeted. Frustratingly, we had three different logo designs across our branding. I knew marketing needed to be a key part of the plan going forward.
The racking and storage experts, established in 1993, are known for their Made in Sheffield mezzanine floors and cantilever vehicle racks. Prodek storage solutions transform how businesses use one of their most valuable assets, space.
Mark Shipley, Managing Director of fenti Digital Marketing said:
I just so happened to get in contact with Ben, being a fellow Sheffield Chamber member, to see if he needed help with marketing. It seemed I called at precisely the right time!
This chance call was the start of a fruitful relationship between the two companies. At the time, Prodek was on the cusp of a sustained period of growth. Recognizing the need to capitalize on its foothold in evolving sectors, Prodek embarked on a bold new marketing strategy. A complete rebrand.
To reflect the ambitions and capabilities of Prodek, fenti designed a brand-new logo. To achieve the paragon of logo design, longevity, and recognisability, fenti designed the new logo to transition the brand and propel it towards its future as an industry leader.
Moving from a text-only logo, fenti introduced a design with a distinct color palette, and graphics to subtly reflect the nature of Prodek’s services.
Elaine Shipley, Creative Director at fenti Digital Marketing said:
Once we developed the color palette, typeface, logo and brand direction for Prodek, we updated this branding at every touchpoint. This is one of the best parts of my job, creating and nurturing a brand, and seeing it evolve with the clients’ ambitions. I love it.
The next step in Prodek’s marketing strategy was a new website. The website can get to a point where, without regular maintenance, can be difficult to update and restrict the depth and breadth of content that an engaging user experience requires.
Mark from fenti said:
The pandemic came along with a slew of challenges but thankfully, we easily adapted and were able to continue supporting our clients through some of the toughest trading conditions they have ever encountered.
Work continued to nurture Prodek’s new brand throughout lockdown as more traditional sales and marketing tactics took a backseat to digital marketing. The redeveloped website design was launched in 2021 with new text, images, video, and a new, more user-friendly structure.
The site was rebuilt using WordPress, the world’s most popular content management system. WordPress is favored by fenti web developers for its ease of use for clients.
Mark says:
We don’t want to ‘lock’ clients in with custom, in-house website software. When we build a site, the client can update it themselves, take it to another agency, or ask us to manage it for them. It’s fair and it’s one of the reasons why clients stay with us for the long term.
Even with the new brand and website complete, work continues to establish Prodek as the industry leader. Prodek has a consistent and recognizable brand name that is performing beyond expectations.
While the team may feel they are busy enough, fenti is busy expanding Prodek’s reach to new industries.
Mark said:
We have a strong focus on SEO at fenti. The user experience and technical elements are tightly intertwined within Google algorithms, which the team collaborates on to continually develop. It’s very satisfying to see the website your team created move up the rankings and deliver those all-important leads.
The future is full of possibilities for Prodek. Growth industries like e-commerce flourish and need Prodek’s expertise to make the most of existing business premises or fully kit out a new venture.
The beauty of having an outsourced marketing department is that you have a team brimming with skills at your fingertips.
An opportunity is never missed, and you can rest assured that your brand will always look it’s very best.
Ben Ellis said:
fenti has transformed the look of Prodek into something that reflects who we are and how we want the business to develop. I was concerned a complete rebrand might be a lot of hassle – I’m very busy running the company – but it was easy. I’m pleased to say it’s all been really successful. fenti functions as our marketing team, which gives me time to focus on business operations, and the daily running of the company.

Fenti Marketing Supports the Launch of Radisson Blu Sheffield with Comprehensive Social Media Strategy
Radisson Blu Hotels partners with Fenti Marketing, a leading digital marketing agency in Sheffield, to support the launch of its new flagship hotel in the heart of Sheffield.
As the first European hotel opening for Radisson Blu in several years, this project marked a key milestone for the brand. Fenti Marketing was selected to develop and implement a strategic social media plan to generate buzz, engage local audiences and position the hotel as a top destination for both business and leisure travellers.
A Strategic Partnership to Elevate the Radisson Blu Brand
The Radisson Blu Sheffield launch required a multifaceted approach, aimed at establishing a strong social media presence from the ground up. Fenti Marketing was tasked with creating an engaging digital narrative that would resonate with the local community while reflecting the premium, stylish image of the Radisson Blu brand. The campaign’s objectives included building brand awareness, organically growing the hotel’s social media following, and laying the foundation for effective paid advertising initiatives.
Fenti’s Approach to the Project

Content Creation and Social Media Management
A comprehensive content calendar was developed to showcase the hotel’s modern amenities, sleek interiors and prime location. Regular photo and video shoots were conducted on-site, producing visually compelling content that highlighted key aspects of the hotel. Behind-the-scenes footage and curated reels were utilised to enhance engagement and generate anticipation in the weeks leading up to the opening.
Creative Graphic Design
Following Radisson Blu’s established brand guidelines, Fenti’s design team created visually appealing social media posts. The graphics effectively balanced the brand’s identity with fresh, localised content tailored to the target audience.
Targeted Paid Advertising
Following a successful period of organic growth, Fenti transitioned the campaign to include paid social media ads. By strategically targeting relevant demographics and utilising location-based content, Fenti ensured that the ads reached potential guests effectively, driving both awareness and engagement.
Impressive Results and Impact
The launch campaign successfully elevated Radisson Blu Sheffield’s social media presence, Fenti’s efforts increased organic growth on Instagram and Facebook, providing a strong foundation for ongoing promotional activities and paid campaigns. The partnership underscores Fenti Marketing’s expertise in delivering tailored digital strategies for the hospitality sector.

Community Matters: Fenti Marketing’s Ongoing Efforts to Illuminate Sheffield’s Philanthropic Landscape
In an era where corporate responsibility often takes centre stage only during the festive season, Sheffield-based digital marketing agency, Fenti Marketing, is making efforts to be dedicated to their philanthropy commitments throughout the entire year!
The Fenti team has recently been a driving force behind several impactful charity initiatives, demonstrating their enthusiasm to make a difference in the South Yorkshire community and beyond.
One standout event was the sponsorship of Bluebell Wood charity’s ‘Skyline Spectacular.’ Fenti proudly supported the design and print for the event, helping its marketing success. Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice cares for children and young adults whose lives are just too short, and their families.
Additional charitable involvements by Fenti Marketing have been:
- Web Development Manager, Kieron, participated in RideLondon’s 100-mile bike ride, raising funds for Sheffield Retired Greyhounds.
- Taking philanthropy to the streets, Fenti took part in Roundabout’s ‘Sleep Out’, braving the elements to raise funds for young people’s housing crisis.
- Fenti Marketing hosts an annual bake sale within their office building. In 2023, proceeds were directed towards Breast Cancer Now, raising just over £300.
- Recognising the value of community hubs, Fenti stepped up to sponsor a local boxing gym – Sheffield Forged Amateur Boxing Club – owned by ex-professional boxer Clinton Woods. Their generous donation of £500 supports both the outreach programs for children and the maintenance of the gym.
- A compassionate response to New Hope Charity’s quest for a new home saw Fenti’s directors contribute £250 towards the construction of a mezzanine level in the charity’s warehouse.
- Fenti Marketing community work extends to our furry friends too – Sarah (Sales and Account Management Executive) and Tom (SEO & Paid Media Manager) spent the day at Thornberry Animal Sanctuary where they got hands-on, assisting with the dog walking and animal care!
Fenti’s Managing Director, Mark Shipley, said:
Our commitment to social responsibility is ingrained in our values, and we are proud to actively contribute to the well-being of our community. By showcasing our year-round efforts, we hope to inspire not only our clients but also other businesses to make philanthropy an integral part of their ethos.

No Such Thing As Luck – How Fenti Marketing Supported IPM Group Throughout Lockdown

No Such Thing As Luck – How Fenti Marketing Supported IPM Group Throughout Lockdown
When you finish reading this article, you may suspect that IPM Group CEO Rick Bailey can predict the future or has some sort of oracle at his disposal.
You will certainly wonder how a business working primarily within the hospitality and construction sectors doubled its turnover in the past 18 months and not only retained all its employees during the pandemic but actually hired new team members.
Rick Bailey said:
It’s all down to planning, seizing opportunities, and compassion. I did the opposite to a lot of business leaders. I reassured the team their jobs were safe, doubled the marketing budget, and pulled the team even closer together to steer IPM through the turmoil of 2020.
You might not have heard of IPM Group, but you are likely to have encountered at least one of their distinct brands. The core of IPM is security and facilities management.
From their base in Killamarsh, IPM manages a sophisticated 24-hour security center, combining the latest technologies with the watchful eyes of IPM’s dedicated security experts.
Add to this, Silversmiths restaurant in Sheffield city center, Firepit Rocks sports bar on West Street, VR Leisure gym, and fitness center in North Anston, to name a few, and you will see many businesses forced to close in early 2020.
So how did Rick do it? Furthermore, how does he expect to take his current team numbers from 500 to 1500 in the next few months?
Bailey said:
In February 2020 we were trading normally but we saw the signs and acted fast. Every one of our brands had the potential to diversify, so that’s exactly what we did. Our marketing agency Fenti, who manages 7 of our brands, supported us to launch several new products and initiatives within just a few months.
Mark Shipley, Managing Director at fenti Digital Marketing, said:
When Rick has a new project, it’s all hands on deck at fenti. In 2020, every one of IPM’s brands had to evolve and stay ahead of the curve. It was really encouraging for team fenti to have exciting new projects coming in amid such torrid times. With Rick’s entrepreneurialism and drive, there’s always plenty for us to get our teeth stuck into.
So How Did Each Brand Diversify?
Security requirements in the construction and hospitality sectors disappeared overnight. While IPM knew it wouldn’t last, they had to be ready for change.
Initially, IPM staff were redeployed to support temporary measures introduced by local councils to support homeless people and to ensure places like supermarkets could safely control in-store customer numbers.
Bailey said:
In the background, we were working on a new project. A world-first in the security sector which we developed and launched within 3 months, ready for when the construction sector started up again.
Combining the latest thermal screening, facial recognition, and anti-virus misting technologies, IPM developed InteliPod, the world’s first touchless, automated access control unit.
The construction industry needed a solution to ensure worker safety across sites. InteliPod not only restricts access to construction sites but also identifies the tell-tale signs of a virus infection.
VR Leisure gym and fitness center closed, switching to online fitness classes. Within the well-being sector, Rick spotted an opportunity where the diet was concerned.
Silversmiths chefs began preparing freshly cooked, nutritious, restaurant-quality meals for home delivery. Revive Nutrition was born.
Rick Bailey said:
Food is the cornerstone of good health. We noticed that while exercise routines were forcibly shifting, so did people’s diet. We partnered with Sheffield Steelers, as the acid test for Revive Nutrition, and haven’t looked back, it’s been a great success.
Firepit Rocks closed in 2020 to keep staff safe while COVID infection rates soared. However, the team certainly didn’t put their feet up.
During the first months of the lockdown, the Firepit team was cooking up 1,000 meals a week to support people relying on food banks.
Supported by Sheffield boxing legend Tommy Frank, who lent a hand to help with the logistics of delivering that many meals.
Bailey said:
We just keep looking forward. All the way through 2020 and 2021 we tried to predict what measures the government would enforce and how they would affect the different sectors we supply. Long-term planning went right out of the window. We focused on the short- and medium-term. We predicted that a combination of the pandemic and Brexit would cause a staff shortage, resulting in a wage increase. We planned for that.
IPM also diversified it’s security brands into the world of post-lockdown football. Before the government gave the green light for fans to return to matches, IPM had recruited and trained 250 new team members, ready for new stadium security requirements.
Bailey added:
IPM launched in 2006, started trading in 2007, and headed straight into one of the worst recessions ever known. There is no such thing as luck in business. Adaptability is key. We are a brand-led business and always have our marketing partner Fenti to turn projects around fast and manage the development of our brands.
Shipley said:
Marketing has changed a lot, even since the 2008 recession. But the need to maintain regular communication and support your stakeholders remains the overriding imperative. Rick and his team understand how to leverage marketing, he is always working to evolve his brands ready to strike while the iron is hot. The world never stops changing, you have to be ready for anything.
