With a vast catalog of over 3,000 titles, including some of the most iconic Japanese manga, Korean comics, and original graphic novel series, Yen Press is committed to bringing a wide range of stories to its audience and to collaborating with creators to share their work with fans worldwide.
The Opportunity
With a rapidly growing digital world, Yen Press realized the need to revamp their website to better showcase their extensive catalog and provide a smooth user experience. The publishing house wanted a website that is easy to navigate and manage, with a primary focus on their authors’ work rather than their brand. Yen Press wanted a platform that could cater to a broad audience between the ages of 13 to 30, including passionate collectors, book lovers, and teenagers fascinated with manga stories.
What eDesign Interactive Did

They also implemented a daily automatic update feature that adds new book titles to the platform every day. The back-end development team managed monumental feeds of data from the book publisher into the website, resulting in a powerful showcase of their development capabilities. Custom solutions, including a custom image manipulation tool and a custom tool for importing huge collections of books, were developed to manage the massive amount of content. Their due diligence and QA process was extensive and tedious, ensuring that all title data and ISBN information were accurate. The site launched with over 11,000 pages, making it one of the most extensive sites in the industry.
The website is built on the latest CakePHP and ElasticSearch, making it incredibly responsive and fast despite the colossal amount of visuals and information. It is mobile-first, ensuring that users can access it seamlessly from any device. eDesign Interactive also incorporated a blog section for Yen Press to post articles tagged to specific titles, and there are additional features and functionalities still in development, such as a PDF book previewer and the ability to sell titles directly from the website. The Opportunity
Managing the transportation and coordination involved in delivering test results, equipment, medications, and specimens is an expensive undertaking for the majority of hospitals and healthcare organizations in the United States. With more healthcare networks expanding, the operation of these deliveries can quickly become inefficient and chaotic. Using proprietary technology, MedSpeed takes this burden off hospitals by establishing a centralized system with a dedicated fleet of drivers and vehicles that follow mapped-out, optimized routes.
This is the core message eDesign Interactive were tasked to highlight in MedSpeed’s new website redesign. As a B2B company, it was also important to create a website that captures the human side of the business, highlighting the real people at MedSpeed who care deeply about handling important deliveries. Their work has a huge impact on the community and helps reduce operating costs while improving the speed, accuracy, and accountability of the entire healthcare network.
What eDesign Interactive Did
eDesign Interactive aimed to visually showcase MedSpeed’s fantastic services by including unique iconography and scrolling animations. It was important to illustrate that MedSpeed acts as a strategic partner to hospitals and healthcare systems, but they also wanted to demonstrate that they support independent labs, pharmacy clients, and home healthcare businesses. Having a navigation that segments these audiences was critical to reach all potential customers the company can serve. As soon as visitors land on the homepage, they can see in seconds, through video and bold statements, that MedSpeed in the business of healthcare and logistics.
The website design is clean and simple. The user experience emphasizes visual storytelling. They advertise who MedSpeed is, their services, and the people working behind the brand. eDesign Interactive also created engaging animations and graphics that illustrate the advantages of using MedSpeed.
The website is also built to prioritize lead generation and finding new customers, but another part of their role was to attract new talent by emphasizing the company’s mission and culture. Their goal was to inform people that MedSpeed is hiring across the country with a “Join Our Team” tab at the top of the page.

The design is elegant and light, and eDesign Interactive’s client loves their new website.
The site is built on WordPress, making it very easy for the team to create and upload content. MedSpeed has a large blog section with engaging news, articles, and resources. The team is posting regular updates to advance their SEO strategy and to keep growing organically.

Fastmail is an email provider that helps users reclaim control of their personal information and increase their productivity. The company provides rock-solid mail technology that guarantees privacy. Their productivity features are one of a kind, built to keep users organized. Fastmail is a thoughtfully designed and easy-to-use email application, trusted by customers around the world.
The Opportunity
Fastmail asked eDesign Interactive team to update their visual identity, create an exciting new corporate look, and build a new website focused on customer acquisition. The website redesign needed to illustrate how Fastmail helps users do more with their email, while at the same time highlighting their commitment to users’ privacy.
Their main objective was to further the company’s mission with new messaging— Make Email Yours— which puts visitors at the center of the website. Fastmail was developed by its founder to provide the best privacy standards possible and make customers the main priority. eDesign Interactive intended to design a website that embodies this vision.
They also wanted to address the question “Why would you pay for email when you can use Gmail for free?”. To answer this question, they planned to engage new users by visually immersing them in Fastmail’s powerful privacy standards, workflow organization, and personalization options.
What eDesign Interactive Did
The new site is designed as a lead generation tool. It showcases why Fastmail exists, how it puts users in control of their email privacy, and how it helps them be more productive. It entices people to sign up, get a domain, and transfer their emails in quick and easy steps. The header and footer of the website are organized with new clients in mind. Within seconds, users can find information, answers their questions, or contact support.
While the previous site had a lot of 2D illustrations, the new design incorporates 3D visuals and playful iconography that show the simplicity of Fastmail’s organization and privacy. The vibrant and colorful aesthetics, coupled with their 3D visualization of emails, emphasize the services Fastmail offers. The design is engaging, on-brand, and a real joy for users to experience as they scroll and interact.
eDesign Interactive created symbolic 3D drawings and micro-animations that grab attention. Their 3D work helps web visitors understand right away the advantages of using Fastmail. The bright colors and flawless animations create trust, a sense of fun, and lightness.
How It Went
Fastmail’s web design speaks for itself. The unique three-dimensional design elements make the website feel light, fun, and immersive.
The site incorporates a WordPress CMS with advanced custom fields and Gutenberg building blocks. This allows Fastmail to build its own custom pages and publish content in a few simple clicks, without developer assistance.
The performance and speed of the site are of utmost importance. With a name like Fastmail, you must have a site that loads fast. Even though they are using many micro-animations and WebGL-built elements, the page speed performs flawlessly.

The Opportunity
Sekure operates in a highly competitive business space and needed to differentiate itself from other merchant providers. However, Sekure lacked a unique brand identity and story.
Like most payment processing firms, Sekure talked about itself as a safe solution and a passionate ally for merchants. Being a trustworthy and caring expert are great qualifications, however, most companies in the industry also choose to describe themselves in those same terms. Their mission was to rebrand Sekure with a one-of-a-kind personality and create a visually captivating website with smart administration options.
What eDesign Interactive Did
In the discovery phase of this project, eDesign Interactive examined Sekure’s competitive landscape to identify areas that will allow them to portray a unique narrative. They found that selecting a credit card processing company is a stressful process. After purchasing the equipment and setting up the payment gateway, businesses truly never want to think about their merchant provider again. eDesign Interactive wanted to include this emotional aspect of the business in the rebranding of Sekure.
Their underlying theme became “no worries”, which landed them on the story of the hummingbird.
In nature, the arrival of the hummingbird brings optimism and signifies that stressful times are over. Being focused and transparent unfolded by adding a new symbolic dimension. The business values Sekure celebrates – collaboration, teamwork, security, and peace of mind- took shape in their branding, color palettes, and logo design. The new iconography uses a pattern system inspired by nature, optimism, and straightforwardness.
Next, eDesign Interactive team designed a website robust on human emotions. eDesign Interactive took advantage of full-screen photography to amplifying Sekure’s message and animate the key calls to action.
How It Went
eDesign Interactive’s rebranding and web design work transformed Sekure’s narrative from comparing rates with other merchants to an emotionally compelling story that grabs the attention of the audience. Even though the website is very dynamic and visually fun, it also fulfills the requirements for a clear message, with industry segmentation, and conversion funnels and goals.
The narrative of the homepage starts in the web navigation with options like “accept payments” “find your industry” or “meet your payment expert” and leads users to detailed landing pages and clever contact forms that take only a few clicks to complete. eDesign Interactive is also testing user personalization options based on individual industries.

LaserNetUS is a consortium of high-power laser facilities around North America that are advancing the frontiers of laser-science research. With funding from the U.S Department of Energy, these 10 institutions foster collaboration among researchers and networks in order to deliver the next scientific breakthroughs.
The Opportunity
LaserNetUS is at the frontier of scientific discovery. Their role was to help establish the consortium as an international leader in high-intensity laser research through a new brand/logo redesign and website. eDesign Interactive focused on creating brand visuals and a web experience that resonates with LaserNetUS’s various audiences.
What eDesign Interactive Did
eDesign Interactive started the project by sketching ideas for the logo shape and brand identity that represented what they do. The consortium needed a modern and clean symbol that stands out. A beam ending in a burst of light integrated into a hexagon.
The hexagon represents a naturally forming shape in nature, and with the burst, this mark embodies the key identifying elements of the brand’s core values: scientific breakthrough, powerful state-of-the-art technology, access, and collaboration between research and industry.
The website redesign required a deep discovery phase, beginning with interviews of key representatives from each laser facility across North America.
The challenge here was organizing the available content into a clear and usable site architecture. For example, eDesign Interactive created an interactive map to help users locate a facility, while at the same time being able to click on each lab to review the technical capabilities and instruments of their laser.
LaserNetUS encourages students, researchers, and established scientists from diverse backgrounds to receive free access to the consortium’s wide range of capabilities. The submission guidelines and proposal process are a key component of the website and are something the site can dial-up or dial-down depending on the deadline and schedule each year.
The website also provides LaserNetUS with the ability to publish news, articles, publications, and awarded experiments via the robust resources section. Scientists can easily browse a large library of content curated from each facility.
How It Went
The homepage is dynamic and eye-catching. The design aims to highlight the innovative nature of high-intensity laser technology. The site is built to become a platform that connects the laser facilities with researchers looking for access to laser experiments, and industry representatives that can benefit from using the network.
It was a team effort to organize the vision and mission of the consortium into a design layout that is functional, but also visually stimulating.
One of the most mind-blowing applications of high-intensity lasers is to further the research infusion reaction. Harnessing quantum-enhanced fusion can lead to generating limitless clean energy for their planet. eDesign Interactive is so proud the consortium chose to work with eDesign on branding this fantastic mission and they look forward to a continued partnership.

The team is known for creating unforgettable premiers for movies like “World War Z” with Brad Pitt or the Netflix original series “Stranger Things”. They also manage many actors and creative talents extended content opportunities.
What eDesign Interactive Did
Building a website design that fits the standards and imagination of Redrock was no small feat. eDesign Interactive was inspired to show their team’s passion and work in a unique way. They created a website filled with energy and excitement that shows off the capabilities of the company and how they deliver ideas from a blank sheet of paper to a fully developed concept.
Redrock’s online space is a memorable site wrapped in the color palette of the latest brand refresh they’ve completed. The design was intentionally stimulating and interactive because it highlights the team’s creative approach to talent management, event planning, and execution.
Visual effects and smart design elements make the page stand out. They incorporated many overlapping animations built on different technologies to create an immersive feeling that keeps you scrolling and exploring. You will notice the WebGL lines generated in the background, giving users the sensation of music, movement, and energy. Some design elements were more challenging to implement than others, like the circular videos and rounded edges.
The most delicate part of the project was developing its compliance and speed optimization for the many types of browsers and devices. When a website is highly creative and animated, it requires additional efforts to make the page accessible for all.
From a UX standpoint, eDesign Interactive made sure to create a flow that leads visitors on a journey into Redrock’s expertise and case studies. They also placed the right calls-to-action along the way to invite the user to call, connect or follow.

When people think of blockchain technology, they often associate it with cryptocurrency and the volatile bitcoin market. Most cryptocurrency sites have a dark, tech-based look-and-feel that focuses on apps and numbers. The Blockchains team wanted to differentiate itself in the space with a humanized aesthetic that over-indexed on people, team, and culture. The site needed to convey that Blockchains goes beyond cryptocurrency, with plans to develop a complete ecosystem rooted in the good of humanity.

The eDesign team knew it needed to build a site for Blockchains that would push the creative envelope. To illustrate the company’s progressive nature, eDesign Interactive developed 30+ custom 3D assets that were integrated throughout the Blockchains site.
At the forefront was a detailed 3D animation of the company’s pilot program—a futuristic city in northern Nevada meant to showcase all aspects of what blockchain technology can do. Featuring an abstract feel, multiple textures, and eye-catching motion, the animation was built to appeal to a variety of audiences—from potential partners, to industrial application users, to prospective employees. In addition, eDesign Interactive team created reusable CMS templates and added new sections, such as a rich news area and career page.
How It Went
The end result was a fast, approachable, and accessible site that differentiated itself from the cryptocurrency space via the use of bright colors and human touches. Just days after launch, Blockchains experienced a 3x increase in engagement from the previous site, and a 50 percent increase in pages visited.

As a financial technology startup, Finch needed to establish itself as a brand from the ground up. They started by securing a name and identifying customer personas, then brought on eDesign to give a “face” to the Finch brand. eDesign Interactive team got to work right away, developing a logo, brand guidelines, and a robust online landing page all within an uber-tight timeline of 4 months.

eDesign Interactive set out to create a logo that connected with the inspiration behind the Finch name—a bird in the Galapagos Islands known for having a distinctive, evolutionary beak.

About the Client
Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) is an accredited two-year public community college located in New Jersey. Founded in 1965, RVCC offers Associate Degree programs that develop critical thinking and promote leadership.
At eDesign, they believe in education; especially a solid, affordable, “real life skills” kind of education. It’s been an honor to be RVCC’s agency of record for several concurrent efforts, from a site redesign, to content marketing, to a robust, multi-season digital campaign.
The Role of eDesign Interactive
The Opportunity
RVCC needed to boost student enrollment and market all the newest programs available at the school while also modernizing the look and feel of the RVCC brand. They needed a lighter, faster and cleaner-looking website that would better appeal to prospective and current students. Their former site had a complex navigational architecture that wasn’t the most intuitive, along with excess copy and an out-of-date SEO strategy that wasn’t driving optimal search engine results.
Color Inspiration
eDesign Interactive was inspired by Pantone’s 2018 Color of the Year, Ultra Violet. It’s a color representing invention and imagination, lighting the way to what is yet to come. RVCC couldn’t agree more that this meshed with the evolution of their messaging.
What They Did
eDesign Interactive mobilized their entire 20-person team to reimagine the RVCC site and create digital campaigns that would authentically resonate with Generation Z.
Putting real-life students front and center, the agency interviewed and photographed a diverse range of current and former students and featured their first-person stories on the “hero slider” and across the site, regularly refreshing student content to feed the narrative. eDesign Interactive also initiated a program of campaign analytics in order to periodically adjust and optimize each month’s activity.
“Capture Tomorrow, by Taking Action Today”
Keeping the “need-it-now” nature of the target demographic in mind, eDesign Interactive implemented marketing strategies that would appeal to prospective and current students. They put together engaging messages and created over 650 visuals. They built 4 landing pages, and designed 580 banners for search ads (Google and Bing) and Facebook ads. They delivered 67 social posts for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and 4 billboard campaigns.
eDesign Interactive’s team produced biweekly blog posts loaded with strategic SEO keywords in order to drive traffic to the site and promote key initiatives. They also delivered animated bumper ad videos for YouTube, and designed over 20 Snapchat filters and lenses for geo-targeted places around the campus (ex: sport events, exams, graduation, etc.). They even launched a unique chatbot named Arvee (“RV”) to engage prospective students who had applied but not yet enrolled, adding an additional touchpoint via text message—the preferred method of communication for teens and young adults.

Hardie’s approached eDesign Interactive with a need for a modernized image while still conserving the spirit the brand was built upon.

Locally grown in Texas, Hardie’s is a family-owned fresh food distributor making daily deliveries of fresh produce throughout the southwest. The company has been providing farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy, spices, and organic items to food service establishments and retailers since 1943. eDesign Interactive’s team designed the Hardie’s website to serve two main functions. Part of the site houses corporate identity, history, values, and work ethics, while the rest of the site highlights the brand’s product catalog and features its impressive array of in-season produce.
Game On
Gamification makes a website more memorable. To add an interactive cool factor to the Hardie’s site, eDesign Interactive created a dynamic wheel showcasing all the fresh fruits and veggies currently in season.
They even added a “draw it yourself” product search, where users can use their fingers or their mouse to draw the shape of a fruit or vegetable in order to let the website determine the product in question. To match users’ hand-drawn doodles with real products, they used the latest artificial neural networks (ANN) technology.
Artificial Neural Networks for Image Recognition
eDesign Interactive is using artificial neural networks (ANN) to identify hand drawn images of fruits and veggies. What is ANN? It’s a computing system inspired by the human brain. The network itself is not an algorithm, but rather a framework for many different machine-learning algorithms that work together to process complex data. In Hardie’s website, they use the power of ANN for image recognition. They have given users the possibility to manually draw the shape of the product the client is looking for. Their machine intelligence matches the hand-drawn doodle with a real product.
Discovery Phase
eDesign Interactive researched Hardie’s business story in detail to understand brand’s essence, core mission and market position. This discovery phase inspired their team to imagine fresh new visuals for Hardie’s online space. They made sure to pay special attention to the sitemap, wireframes and content layout, as they knew user experience was key.
Easy Breezy
The site makes it easy for visitors to find products, search the online catalog, or filter fresh cuts. This ease extends to the back-end as well, with an intuitive dashboard that lets eDesign Interactive’s client easily swap out products or spotlight seasonal fruits and veggies.

During World War II John Hardie purchased a single farm-to-market delivery truck to fill a much-needed service in wartime Dallas. Three generations later, this simple service has blossomed into one of the premier fresh food distributors in the southwest. eDesign Interactive paid special attention to the homepage to create a blend of moving elements, video backgrounds, cinemagraphs, and beautiful lines. The homepage transforms with the seasons, featuring refreshing white wines in the spring and summer, and red varieties in the autumn and the winter months.
Boutique Product Space
Since each Menada wine blend has its own an individual character—along with a unique label and color palette—eDesign Interactive decided to showcase each bottle with an interesting animation of its own.
They aimed to capture the personality of the brand: exceptional quality and old world traditions mixed with a vivid identity. Unlike a typical website design for a winery, the Menada site features a jazzy look and unconventional backgrounds, with crisp, “handpicked” graphics that emphasize different grape varieties.

Every element featured on Pop Weaver’s homepage could have its own case study. That’s how much attention eDesign Interactive paid to each detail. They spared no resources, creative ideas, or efforts for this project, putting in over 352 hours for the design alone!
Research Phase
In order to design a stellar website, eDesign Interactive started by building a solid understanding of Pop Weaver’s business and market positioning. Over several weeks they visited multiple plants and offices.
They studied Pop Weaver’s competition, customers, partners, manufacturing process, business goals, corporate culture, website pain points and future development ideas. The research was done entirely in-house through stakeholder interviews, surveys and data validation.
A Website, No Matter How Beautiful, Must Fist Be Functional
The next step was to create precise wireframes (“the perfect blueprint”) to visualize the site logic, taxonomy, user interactions, and homepage purpose.
They knew that without a well-grounded business strategy, timely calls-to-actions, and an intelligent homepage structure, the website wouldn’t stand on its own as a strong business development tool.
3D Animations
eDesign Interactive wanted to include exceptional elements to make Pop Weaver’s website stand out. From a 3D popcorn box and flying kernels to an animated popcorn-making machine, they created a truly memorable experience.
All 3D models have been created and assembled element by element, so they can animate each image, enhance it, render it, and make it come to life. These provide a truly custom and memorable approach, unmatched by any competitor in the space.
Popcorn Photo-Shoot
Pop Weaver’s website does not have a single stock image, with each visual asset created in their studio. How did it all happen? Well, they popped a lot of popcorn and had lots of fun shooting different photos and videos on different backgrounds.

Copywriting
eDesign Interactive chose carefully every word to present Pop Weaver’s wholesome products and high-quality standards—with plays on words, short teasers, and a distinctive tone of voice.
They had fun talking about the company’s philanthropic work, the festivals Pop Weaver supports, and autonomous growers.
To the Left
They chose to ignore the popular horizontal menu bar and made the bold decision to hide the menu vertically, on the viewer’s left. This freed a full screen to display a beautiful, cinematic vision of Pop Weaver.
The open space and large-scale images created a fantastic mood and presented the brand as the king that it is.
Programming and Front-End Magic
They faced a few challenges when coding the round shapes of site’s visuals, titles and navigation. It wasn’t easy to recreate the outline of Pop Weaver’s branding for certain details of the site, but in the end, the effort was well worth it.
What Else?
The website carries lots of micro-interactions, fun animations, and attention-grabbing calls-to-action. They even lit the entire site at an angle so that the light falls on specific design details to help them “pop.”

EXERON generates and stores energy from various sources: PV, wind, diesel genset and grid electricity. The system is used for telecoms towers, residential electricity, and factory power supply, along with oil and gas drilling rigs. EXERON is military certified and provides uninterrupted service in harsh condition, operating at temperatures up to 80°C/176°F!
Earth’s Power of the Future Ready Now
EXERON is a brilliant system, a huge technological breakthrough, and a colossal human achievement. Not only does the system operates in any part of the world, under any conditions, combining different power sources; it also helps with massive OPEX cost reductions, CO2 reductions and generates reliable electricity for many places around the globe. To capture so much greatness in a single website was a great challenge. eDesign Interactive was honored to work with EXERON on this fantastic project.
In-Depth Research
When eDesign Interactive started working on EXERON, the information was overwhelming. The technology was futuristic, the terminology was puzzling, and the marketing assets were scarce. In order to translate the impressive amount of data into effective visuals, they headed to EXERON’s factory to take notes, sketch, analyze, photograph and understand their technology before they can visualize it digitally.
Their team was on a mission to learn about advanced diesel genset, modular hot plug-ins, DG/Grid rectifiers, Lead-Acid, Li-Ion, LiFePo, Ni-Cad, Zinc based battery control and more—putting it all together into a comprehensive, yet interesting, yet corporate, yet creative website. What a task!
Fantastic Animations
To showcase EXERON, eDesign Interactive set off to create a website worthy of the innovation it mirrors. Over 250 images were drawn by hand by their extraordinary designers, then animated by their front-end gurus. The work was meticulous and the effort was ambitious, with long hours spent on every detail.
Users can engage with animations to run an entire EXERON plant, build their own, launch live configurators, run power flow diagrams, or experience a helicopter pad. Simply wow, don’t you think?
Video Inspiration
What is a powerful technology without its secret extraterrestrial origin and sci-fi cosmic lab? Say what?!
eDesign Interactive’s team created a video script, moving graphics and an animated video story to illustrate the powers of EXERON. The work was done entirely in-house. The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey (OINJ) is the largest orthopedic practice in northwest New Jersey, providing complete orthopedic care for patients with musculoskeletal illnesses and injuries. With multiple locations across the region, OINJ offers an array of orthopedic services from nationally-recognized physicians, leveraging state-of-the-art equipment and customized treatment plans to help patients feel their best.
The Opportunity
OINJ needed to cut though the local competition by positioning itself as a thought leader within the orthopedic field. Their existing website was dated and had a limited SEO strategy that inhibited both paid and organic search results. With a growing number of locations on the horizon, it was time to launch a more contemporary, mobile-first design, with engaging visuals, simple navigation and a clearer presentation of hours and services.
What eDesign Interactive Did
The eDesign team began by interviewing key stakeholders across all therapeutic areas at OINJ in order to get the physician point of view for each part of the patient journey. They then developed a creative brief and site map that would provide the best possible pathways for navigation based on patient needs.
Keeping different user experiences in mind, eDesign Interactive built out a content strategy that included updating and editing existing content while also working with a medical copywriter to create new, informative blog posts to educate patients on specific conditions. Recognizing that quick visibility of phone numbers was important for urgent situations, the agency prioritized them in the new design while optimizing SEO and developing a streamlined new logo.
How it Went
Built with a modern front-end, leveraging a JavaScript framework for fast loading across all devices, the new OINJ site features smart navigation that allows users to search by conditions and treatments, explore locations, find a physician, and request an appointment with ease. A user-friendly CMS allows for simple updates as new physicians and services are added.
With a 14 percent year-over-year increase in organic search results, eDesign Interactive’s SEO efforts yielded a goal completion rate of 10 percent—meaning the site converted 10 percent more prospective patients than the previous version of the site. There was one day in particular, about two months after launch, where OINJ received close to 300 calls—a record for the organization. Building on the success of these results, OINJ has committed to a continued engagement with eDesign, including ongoing content marketing and campaign work.

A 90 Years-Old Tradition
Founded in 1924, Villa Yambol is the oldest winery in Southern Bulgaria. The brand prides itself on long-lasting traditions, including outstanding wine quality and true attention to detail. Touring their beautiful facility, eDesign Interactive learned that Villa Yambol is one of the very few winemakers to have their own barrel workshop. New barrels are manufactured from high-quality Bulgarian oak, while old barrels are recycled into interesting bar accessories.
Visual Storytelling
To draw viewers into Yambol’s rich valley, eDesign Interactive used gorgeous custom photography manipulated to perfection. Each image conveys Villa Yambol’s passion for the land, devotion to the craft and love of wine.

Born in Space… 2 Billion Years Ago
Alaska Vodka asked eDesign Interactive to create a corporate website as unique as the company’s trademark taste and quality. In the process of getting to know the brand, they learned some fascinating facts. For example, the distillation process uses Shungite rocks, which were part of a meteor that collapsed on earth some two billion years ago.
Shungite rocks seem to absorb, filter and purify any harmful elements or bacteria, giving liquids a healing power. A theory even presumes that life itself started from within shungite water, as its structural elements are present in all living beings. Hearing the company’s passion for taste and quality, eDesign Interactive was inspired to create a website that advocates the story of Alaska vodka and shows the untamed wilderness and extreme beauty of its origins.
The Purest Ice on Earth
The website design is an Alaskan wonderland of pure ice, floating snowflakes and mountain mist that come together to capture the heart of the brand. Their journey starts at the top of Alaska’s highest mountain range, revealing the exceptional purity of the spirit. Scrolling along, viewers can take different roads to discover the crafting of the product and the quality of ingredients behind the vodka’s authentic taste.
Through carefully chosen images, video frames and moving elements, eDesign Interactive introduces viewers to Alaska’s pristine scenery, spring waters and high-quality grains, along with each part of the 7-step distillation process.
An Amazing Journey to the Highest Peak
As if the breathtaking visuals weren’t enough, Alaska’s website takes viewers further along, exploring the purest ice on earth in the footsteps of a real expedition.
The brand sent Bulgarian alpinist Doychin Boyanov to “conquer Alaska” and bring back ice from the tallest peak in North America—Mount McKinley, aka “Denali.” The epic story unfolds through a vertical scroll and timeframe animation.

Brickfielder creates golf shirts inspired by biomechanics. They’re made with a high-tech, breathable, water-repellent and windproof membrane that protects the trapezius and deltoid muscles during the rotational movement of the golf swing. What’s more, Brickfielder shirts stimulate the delivery of oxygen to the blood, helping golfers conserve energy longer, increase endurance and boost their swing.

When Technology Meets Fashion
Brickfielder challenged eDesign Interactive team to build a website and online store for this not-so-ordinary brand. With no visuals of the product and no previous marketing materials or digital graphics, the project began from the ground up. They started by sketching a concept that combined the classical style of a sports clothing line with the provocative flair of high fashion.
The team brainstormed ways to inform golfers about the infrared thermal regulation weaved into Brickfielder’s fabric. The team’s goal was to create an instant visual perception with a “wow factor”. The answer: eDesign Interactive designed a 3D layout animation that showcases Brickfielder inside and out.
Cool. Cooler. Coolest
The infrared thermal regulation woven in the fabric of Brickfielder shirts allows the body to maintain a constant temperature while evaporating sweat and helping golfers feel comfortable and focused on the game. eDesign Interactive used tree leaves as a reference to simulate the blowing wind for different weather conditions.
Creative Photoshoot Session
With no visuals or marketing materials prior to working with them, a high-fashion photo session was in order. They sketched the creative concept, turned on their studio lights, and brought in a fashion photographer extraordinaire. They photographed a professional golf player with a strong swing, using his pictures to populate Brickfielder’s online galleries and storefront.
Amplifying the Brand
Paying attention to every detail, eDesign Interactive created a high energy, high fashion sports mood for the brand. They even implemented custom-made fonts to simulate the action of a golf swing.

Out-of-the-Box Approach
The new Die Crew website needed a bold design to reflect a strong and talented agency. eDesign Interactive chose a card layout for a simple reason—not a single Die Crew project resembles the next.
Because the agency works with complex, colorful and unique brands, eDesign Interactive let each page, project and client live in its own separate world. Each “card” leads you to a different part of the website and opens up a brand new story. Yet the whole design is harmonious and blends well together.
The research phase of this website redesign was extremely important as it laid down the foundation for a solid UX approach.
Electric Colors and Animations
DieCrew.com is a blend of solid colors, simplified forms, and straight-to-the-point information. While clean designs have dominated corporate websites over the last few years, designers around the world are now trying to bring electric colors back to the drawing table. As one of the initiators of this trend, their team was inspired by Andy Warhol. In this website design, they play with color dissonance for an edgy, dramatic feel.
State-of-the-Art Back-End Programming
Die Crew’s team requested freedom. The freedom to create pages, build blog posts and publish case studies with ease. They wanted the absolute flexibility to design future pages without using outside help. eDesign Interactive’s mission: code endless possibilities and generate unique concepts at a touch of a button, with zero programming experience required by the user.
A Unique Site Builder
While Die Crew does not have in-house developers, they wanted the ability to create content by themselves without being limited to a particular design. To accomplish this, eDesign Interactive rolled up their sleeves and created a boutique site builder inside the administration panel of Die Crew’s site. The site builder is flexible, intuitive and easy to use. After spending several months coding this colossal project, eDesign Interactive’s efforts paid off. Now Die Crew can create new pages with unique designs and color palettes in an instant.
Mobile Magic
If your website is not mobile responsive, you are missing out on huge opportunities online. Even though Die Crew was a complex project from a coding perspective, the site looks flawless on any mobile device. eDesign Interactive is proud of their back-end programmers for making the magic happen.

Before the Machine: Rob Dyrdek
Rob Dyrdek is a master brand builder, producer, reality TV personality, and former professional skateboarder, best known for the MTV shows Rob & Big, Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory and Ridiculousness. Raised around creatively-driven entrepreneurs, Rob built his personal brand as a young pro skateboarder and launched his first company at 18. He created the world’s first skate plaza, produced the first skateboarding feature film, and built the very first professional skateboarding league.
Today, Rob uses the Dyrdek Machine platform to master his ability to foster ideas, curate individuals, and systematically create successful, thriving businesses from nothing more than a vision and a dream.
The Opportunity
As a master brand builder, Dyrdek Machine needed a gateway that would appeal to the sophisticated, serial entrepreneur looking for an amazing partner to help build their vision. They sought an updated website that would wow visitors and allow them to immediately understand that Dyrdek Machine is NOT the average venture capital firm.
They wanted their portfolio companies to shine brighter on the site, and they required an accessible Content Management System that would allow for easy and flexible in-house updates. They also wanted a partner that would adhere to their extensive set of brand and icon guidelines.
What eDesign Interactive Did
When eDesign Interactive heard that Dyrdek Machine was looking for a new set of creative eyes to help rebuild its website, they knew that eDesign was made for the task. They started by doing a deep dive into Rob Dyrdek and his company—quickly determining that the site would need a “build with me” feel that reflected Rob’s essence and conveyed his high-energy, hands-on approach.
The eDesign team hopped on a plane to Los Angeles to meet with Rob and his fellow Do-Or-Diers® in order to truly soak in their unmatched passion and drive. They put together a creative brief and hit the ground running, working hand-in-hand with Rob to co-create the site every step of the way. The new Dyrdek Machine website was built using a modern front-end javascript framework for fast loading across all devices, with meticulously wireframed screens to match the narrative Dyrdek Machine wanted to convey.
How It Went
The new Dyrdek Machine website offers a dynamic yet streamlined window into the company, highlighting Rob’s celebrity while still letting the portfolio partners shine. eDesign Interactive brought partners to the forefront through an animated scrolling solution that showcases each brand at its best, putting their products front and center.
Similarly, they used a scrolling experience to explain what The Machine Method is, drilling down to the nitty gritty details without overwhelming the user.

Their innovative designers animated existing brand icons to show how a set of principles, elements and systems come together to form The Machine Method, adding value while still adhering to brand guidelines.
Next Step
Rob’s distinct voice and vision come through on every page of the site via crisp, first-person language and compelling pull-quotes curated by their content creation team. The site’s new scalable CMS allows Dyrdek Machine to easily swap out or update content as portfolio companies go through the exit cycle for a true turn-key experience. Next eDesign Interactive will help Dyrdek Machine launch its Shopify eCommerce experience for branded merchandise sales, further building buzz for prospective Do-Or-Dier® founders.

For over 140 years, Welch’s® has been turning beautiful fruit, proudly grown on family farms, into delicious juices, jams and jellies. This tradition led to a popular fat-free, gluten-free snack, made with farm-grown fruits, and no preservatives. From tree to bag, each serving contains 100% of the daily-recommended value of vitamin C and 25% DV Vitamins A&E.
The Opportunity
Welch’s Fruit Snacks needed a contemporary website for the U.S. and Canada in both English and French. As the brand’s “face,” they wanted the website to communicate “fruit first” messaging in a way that would appeal to their core audience of Millennial and Young Gen X parents. Must-haves included product information, where to buy functionality, and an easy-to-update CMS.
After immersing themselves in the company and developing a creative brief, eDesign Interactive worked on bringing the brand to life.
Mouthwatering Experience Loved by the Whole Family
They designed a website that feels fun, fresh and vibrant while keeping the design simple and authentic. To convey that Welch’s® Fruit Snacks come in three distinct and delicious varieties, they presented each product with its own unique color code, lending a distinct charm and visual identity to each snack type.
In addition to implementing a user-friendly WordPress CMS and a robust store locator, eDesign Interactive launched Welch’s fruit snacks Canada, complete with a French-Canadian language version.

Welch’s® Fruit Snacks comes in three distinct and delicious varieties: Welch’s® Fruit Snacks, Welch’s® Fruit ‘n Yogurt™ Snacks and Welch’s® Fruit Rolls. eDesign Interactive presented each product with its own unique color code, giving each snack variety its own charm and visual identity.
How It Went
Playful animations, oversized fruit images, and bold colors showcase the brand’s appeal as a wholesome, mouthwatering snack that puts fruit first. The eDesign team is proud to share that the new Welch’s® Fruit Snacks site won the 2019 Gold Davey and W3 awards for their food and beverage categories. They built on this achievement by designing a vibrant web page for the launch of Promotion in Motion’s new confection line, Gummi FunMix, which won a Silver Davey Award for Best Website Design. The Project
It’s not every day that a legendary brand is brought back to life, and their team was thrilled to be a part of the adventure. But how does one go about reviving a legend? eDesign Interactive was given the mission to create a simple website that showcased vintage guitars being manufactured with new technology.
A Scrollable Journey Through Old New York
To revive the memories of D’Angelico’s legacy, eDesign Interactive focused their digital design on the exquisite guitars, and their longstanding tradition and history. They drew every detail around the beautifully crafted instruments, devoting the website to digital storytelling.
Scrolling along, they took visitors to old New York to learn about the lives of John D’Angelico and his best apprentice, James D’Aquisto—“the two greatest guitar makers of the 20th century.” Users were able to click around and marvel at the quality and details of each guitar, as well as browse popular artists playing them.
Awards
The success of D’Angelico’s website went far beyond their wildest expectations. The site was named Awwwards Site of the Day and FWA Site of the Day. It was a Webby Best Visual Design Honoree and received a Forbes E-Volution Awards for Design Aesthetics. It was also featured in many design books, articles and publications around the world.
Beyond success in the design community, the new site gave their client the boost they needed. The legend was reborn and the brand became the talk of town for renowned music artists around the world.

Eight months after launching D’Angelico’s first website, the brand needed no more introductions. D’Angelico guitars were already in the hands of major artists around the world, and the company soon found itself among the most successful “new” brands in the industry.
What their client needed now was a website that featured its latest guitar series, along with an integrated shop, customer log-ins, media area, dealer locations and social media feed. Outgrowing one’s digital space is a fantastic sign of growth—and they’re proud to have been a part of the success.
New Ownership, Same Quality
Before beginning the manufacturing process, original D’Angelico guitar models were put through MRI and x-ray machines for accurate replication. It took about two years to create one of the master-builder guitars from raw wood, with a carefully-recruited team at the helm.
