Ecommerce Project Manager
Description:
We are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Project Manager to oversee and coordinate projects from inception to launch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including development, design, marketing, and account management to ensure timely delivery of ecommerce solutions that meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, excellent project management skills, and a passion for enhancing online customer experiences.Duties:
- Lead and manage multiple ecommerce projects simultaneously from start to finish
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, development, marketing, etc.) and external clients to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure smooth project execution
- Manage client communications, providing regular updates and addressing concerns or challenges
- Coordinate ecommerce platform integrations (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce) and custom features development
- Conduct quality assurance testing and ensure all projects meet the company’s standards
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor project KPIs and performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction and project success
- Stay up-to-date with ecommerce trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve project execution

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Ecommerce Project Manager, with a solid track record of delivering successful ecommerce projects
- Deep understanding of ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce) and technologies (API integrations, third-party tools, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and internal teams
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Clickup, Asana, Jira, Trello) and agile methodologies
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to anticipate issues and proactively implement solutions
- Familiarity with ecommerce best practices, UX/UI, SEO, and performance optimization
- PMP certification or similar is a plus

- Managing and overseeing multiple ecommerce projects simultaneously
- Collaborating with clients to develop solutions to improve conversion rates and other essential ecommerce metrics.
- Crafting proposals for prospect clients and playing an active role in the agency’s sales cycle
- Working with platforms such as Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, and BigCommerce
- Managing a cross-functional team that includes developers, QA technicians, UI/UX designers, and others
- Engaging in performance optimization projects and working with headless ecommerce infrastructure
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing ecommerce projects
- In-depth experience with Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, and/or BigCommerce
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to find creative solutions for clients
- Strong leadership abilities, with proven experience managing a diverse team
- Experience in performance optimization projects and headless ecommerce infrastructure (preferred but not required)
- Active participation in the sales cycle, including proposal creation
