FinancialMarkets.media Reviews
Digital Marketing Agency for Financial Institutions
FinancialMarkets.media describes itself as a full-service digital marketing agency built by traders and marketers to serve financial institutions, and backed by FXStreet. The available client feedback reflects that sector concentration: search, social media and forex-related websites handled for a financial services firm, with trader audience quality as the measure of success.Strongest Differentiators
Sector fluency is the clearest differentiator. The client singles out expertise across both financial markets and marketing, a combination that is scarce and that removes much of the explanation burden from the client side. A second theme is reliability, with the client noting that no meeting or deadline was missed across more than a year of work.DAN Perspective
FinancialMarkets.media appears well matched to brokers, trading platforms and financial institutions that need marketing partners already fluent in the regulatory and audience realities of the category. Available signals point to steady, retained relationships rather than campaign bursts. Businesses outside financial services would be engaging an agency whose entire positioning sits elsewhere.Search & Website Management
The engagement described covers search engine optimisation alongside management of forex-related websites, with the client reporting improved retention and engagement on site. Running both the acquisition and the destination suggests the agency can connect traffic quality to on-site behaviour rather than optimising either in isolation.Social Media & Audience Quality
Social media is handled as part of the same scope, and the client frames the outcome in terms of audience composition: more interested and advanced traders joining the platform. Measuring social by the calibre of audience attracted rather than reach is a notably sector-appropriate way to assess the work.Reliable & Fast to Respond
The client describes the team as professional, easy to work with and fast to respond, and notes that no meeting or deadline was missed in more than a year. Reliability sustained over that period is a stronger communication signal than responsiveness reported during a short project.Strategy-Led Account Management
The client characterises the engagement as having helped a growing company grow further through a designated strategy, which suggests the work was directed by an agreed plan rather than assembled task by task. That framing points to account management operating at a strategic rather than purely executional level.Primary Expertise
The service mix covers search engine optimisation, social media and website management, delivered to financial institutions including brokers and trading platforms. Available signals suggest a full-service offering within a single vertical, supported by the agency's connection to an established financial markets publisher.Value Creation Pattern
Value in this account is expressed as audience quality and engagement rather than raw volume: better retention on site and a more advanced trader profile joining the client. For financial services, where client value varies enormously by segment, that focus on composition is where commercial returns are actually generated.Price-Performance Balance
Cost is not raised as a concern in the available account. The client frames the assessment around growth achieved and the strategy behind it, describing the engagement as having helped an already growing company grow further. That framing implies the investment was judged against commercial outcomes.Transparency & Delivery Confidence
Over a year without a missed meeting or deadline is the clearest available evidence on delivery reliability, and it is the client's own summary rather than an inference. Combined with a strategy agreed up front, the account points to a commercial relationship that behaved predictably throughout.Client Satisfaction
The available client account comes from a financial services firm and reports measurable improvement in website retention and engagement alongside a positive assessment of the working relationship. Satisfaction expressed through audience and retention metrics is more informative in this sector than general commentary would be.Referability
The client describes the agency's combined financial and marketing expertise as impressive and credits it with supporting continued growth. In a sector where suppliers are typically chosen on category understanding, that specific endorsement is the attribute most likely to carry weight with other institutions.Case Studies

ORM — Forex Broker (Canada, UK, UAE)
FMM conducted a comprehensive online reputation audit for a Forex broker client across 6 search and AI engines in Canada, the UK and the UAE, analysing 8,673 results across 89 brand, trust, regulation and withdrawal queries. This mapped the pages shaping the broker’s reputation in search and identified the sources being cited by AI assistants.
FMM also analysed the reach of the broker’s financial media coverage, tracking 123 results across high-authority publications and syndicated copies. 76 of these 123 results appeared on high-authority sites such as TradingView and Business Insider, extending the broker’s visibility across influential financial media environments.
A key finding was the broker’s strong presence within AI-generated answers: 11 of the 12 audited pages were cited by AI engines, providing a measurable indication of the broker’s visibility across emerging AI search environments.
The combined analysis provided the broker with a data-driven view of its online reputation across traditional search and AI, while identifying the pages, media coverage and third-party publications contributing to its visibility.

FinancialMarkets.media Strengthens Its Focus on Online Reputation to Support Brand Growth in the Trading Industry

FinancialMarkets.media Strengthens Its Focus on Online Reputation to Support Brand Growth in the Trading Industry
October 2026, FinancialMarkets.media (FMM), a marketing and media platform focused on the financial markets industry, is strengthening its focus on online reputation as a key component of brand development for trading brokers and fintech companies.
As competition across the online trading sector continues to intensify, establishing a recognizable and credible digital presence has become increasingly important for businesses seeking to differentiate themselves. Beyond traditional advertising, brands are placing greater emphasis on how they appear across digital publications, industry media and online conversations.
Online Reputation Becomes a Strategic Priority
For trading brokers and financial services companies, online reputation extends beyond individual marketing campaigns. It encompasses the broader digital footprint a brand develops over time, including its visibility in relevant publications, the consistency of its messaging and the content associated with its name across online channels.
A coordinated approach to these elements can help businesses strengthen brand awareness, communicate their positioning more effectively and establish a more consistent presence across the digital ecosystem. This is particularly relevant in the trading industry, where audiences encounter numerous competing providers and may engage with a brand across multiple platforms before forming an impression.
Commenting on the announcement, Sergi López Tomàs, CEO of FinancialMarkets.media, said:
“As trading brokers compete for visibility in an increasingly competitive digital landscape, we are strengthening our focus on online reputation as a core pillar for brand growth. Through strategic media placements, relevant publication mentions and user-generated content, our clients can build a more consistent and credible online presence. At Financial Markets.media (FMM), we see this as essential to long-term brand recognition and trust.”
In response to this evolving landscape, FMM is emphasizing the role of a more comprehensive online presence, bringing together strategic media placements, relevant publication mentions and user-generated content (UGC) to help businesses build greater brand consistency and recognition.
Building a More Consistent Digital Brand Presence
Through this strategic focus, FinancialMarkets.media aims to reinforce the importance of connecting brand visibility with a coherent digital identity. Rather than treating media exposure and online content as isolated activities, businesses can benefit from an approach that considers how different touchpoints contribute to their overall positioning.
For brokers and fintech companies operating in a crowded digital environment, this means looking beyond short-term exposure and considering how their presence develops across relevant publications and online platforms over time.
By highlighting the relationship between visibility, consistency and credibility, FinancialMarkets.media continues to position online reputation as an important consideration for businesses seeking sustainable brand growth in the financial markets sector.
As digital competition evolves, a well-managed online presence can play an increasingly important role in helping financial brands communicate their value, strengthen recognition and remain visible to their target audiences.

How forex broker CEOs are rebuilding trust in a volatile market

How forex broker CEOs are rebuilding trust in a volatile market
Global foreign exchange turnover hit $9.6 trillion a day in April 2025, a record, and much of it driven by a single month of tariff-shock trading. Cyprus, the licensing base for hundreds of the brokers handling that flow, approved 47 new investment firm licences in 2025 alone, even as its regulator suspended two firms outright within four months of each other, fined another €200,000 for helping clients evade the EU’s leverage cap, and watched a Europe-wide supervisory review land on local conflict-of-interest policies. This is what the region’s forex CEOs are actually doing to close that gap.
A record year for volume, and for shocks
The Bank for International Settlements’ Triennial Survey, conducted every three years across more than 1,100 banks and dealers in 52 jurisdictions, put average daily FX turnover at $9.6 trillion in April 2025, up from $7.5 trillion in 2022. It is the highest figure the BIS has recorded since it began the survey in 1986.
It is also, by the BIS’s own timing, a snapshot of an unusually volatile month. April 2025 caught the peak of that year’s US tariff shock, and several market analysts who reviewed the survey afterward flagged the same caveat: a large share of the jump reflects one turbulent month rather than a permanently higher baseline. The number is real. Whether it is the new normal or a spike is not yet settled.
What has followed since has not been calm either. The Bank of England’s July 2026 Financial Stability Report describes a negative energy supply shock from the conflict in the Middle East, which pushed energy prices and sovereign bond yields sharply higher before a US-Iran memorandum of understanding brought them part of the way back down, alongside a Trade Policy Uncertainty Index still running well above its historical average. The UK added its own shock in June, when Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s resignation put pressure on sterling. Closer to home, the European Central Bank raised its deposit rate to 2.25 per cent in June 2026 and 2.50 per cent in September, its first increases since 2023, and we have already covered what that means for domestic borrowers.
None of this is forex-specific. All of it lands on forex brokers first, because currency markets are where every other shock gets priced within minutes.
A regulator that is no longer just counting licences
Cyprus’s position as the EU’s largest hub for retail forex and CFD brokers is not new. What has changed is how closely CySEC is now looking at what it has licensed.
According to Zitadelle AG, a regulatory advisory firm that tracks CySEC’s licensing register, and which is the source here because CySEC itself does not publish a single running count in this form, the regulator approved 47 new Cyprus Investment Firm licences in 2025, taking the number of supervised entities to 808, alongside roughly €2.3m in fines issued that year.
The same year produced a run of individually documented enforcement actions.
Triangleview Investments Ltd (CIF 384/20, the 3angleFX brand) had its licence fully suspended over anti-money-laundering failures, board and management deficiencies, and organisational shortcomings. CySEC’s board made the decision on 17 March 2025, though the suspension was not publicly announced until August. Triangleview had already paid a €50,000 settlement to CySEC in 2022 over a separate client-funds failure.
Conotoxia Ltd (CIF 336/17, part of Poland’s Conotoxia Holding, whose home-market payments licence had already been revoked by Poland’s KNF in October 2024) had its own licence fully suspended by CySEC on 23 July 2025, over board oversight, shareholder-suitability and organisational failures. The same board meeting fined the firm €3,650 for breaching anti-money-laundering rules and €1,300 separately for a late quarterly filing. CySEC withdrew Conotoxia’s licence entirely on 22 December 2025, nine months after Triangleview’s suspension and less than a year after the fine.
IC Markets (EU) Ltd was fined €200,000, CySEC’s board finding the firm had knowingly helped clients access leverage of up to 1:1000 through a third-country group entity, circumventing the EU’s 1:30 retail cap, a repeat of conduct it had already assured the regulator it had fixed. CySEC’s chairman at the time, Dr George Theocharides, said the regulator takes any misconduct by supervised firms seriously.
Eurotrade Investment RGB Ltd was fined a comparatively trivial €100 in August 2026, for missing a quarterly filing deadline, a sign of how far down into routine paperwork CySEC’s enforcement net now reaches.
VPR Safe Financial (operator of Alvexo) and FIBO Markets also voluntarily surrendered their CIF licences within the same window. At the sharper end, the directors of Ayers Alliance were fined and banned after their firm surrendered its licence amid client payout problems, the closest thing on this list to what a real trust failure costs.
Layered on top of that is a Europe-wide review. ESMA confirmed in its own announcement that it is running a 2026 Common Supervisory Action with national regulators on MiFID II conflicts of interest, examining how firms are influenced by staff remuneration and inducements, how digital platforms steer retail clients toward certain products, and how firms manage the tension between their own profit and their clients’ interests.
Ahead of that review landing on Cyprus, Surveill, a compliance analytics firm, published its own assessment of 154 CySEC-regulated forex and CFD firms against 45 conflict-of-interest controls aligned to the review’s priorities. It is private research, not an ESMA or CySEC finding, and we present it as such: it found policies at some firms unchanged for a decade, and an average score of just 0.33 out of 3 specifically on digital-platform conflicts.
The floor every CEO has to defend, and the part that is actually optional
Segregated client funds. A 1:30 leverage cap on major pairs for retail clients. Mandatory negative balance protection. Membership of the Investor Compensation Fund, covering eligible clients up to €20,000 if a broker fails. None of this is new, and none of it is a differentiator any more, since it is the baseline every CySEC-licensed competitor already has to clear.
Where CEOs are actually competing now is one level up. Exness’s regional commercial director, Mohammad Amer, framed it plainly in a recent industry interview: execution quality, in his view, has stopped being a broad brand promise and become something a trader should be able to observe and test directly, not just take on faith. Skilling’s CEO, George Kyriakoudes, has made a similar case in his own public comments, describing transparency as a growth driver rather than a compliance cost, and arguing that clarity on spreads and fees matters more to traders than another new tool.
What happens when that layer fails is not hypothetical. When the proprietary trading platform Topstep suffered a run of outages in late 2025, its official response was widely seen by affected traders as inadequate, largely because it addressed the technical fix but not compensation for losses incurred during the disruption. Its public reviews fell sharply in the aftermath. The lesson generalises well beyond one firm: during exactly the moments volatility is testing a broker’s execution, a defensive or incomplete statement does more damage than the outage itself.
Where the compliance file ends and the reputation file begins
None of the above, the licensing, the audits, the fund segregation, the conflict-of-interest policy, is something a marketing function can manufacture. That work sits with compliance and it has to be real before anything else matters.
What sits squarely with marketing is a different question: once that work is actually done, does a prospective client ever see it? A clean CySEC file, a genuine audit trail and proper client-fund segregation carry no advantage if a competitor with a thinner compliance record is simply more visible in search results, review sites and financial press coverage at the moment a trader is comparing brokers.
That visibility gap is where firms like FinancialMarkets.media operate. Cyprus’s forex sector is one of the agency’s core client bases; its published client list includes brokers such as XM, IC Markets, HFM, FxPro or Exness. FMM provides SEO and AI search optimisation, content marketing, digital PR, online reputation strategy, link building and media buying, all tailored to financial institutions and trading brands. The objective is to ensure that a firm’s legitimate credentials, expertise and value proposition are visible across search engines, financial media, industry publications and other channels where prospective clients research and compare brokers, amplifying the story rather than replacing the underlying compliance and credibility behind it.
Put simply: compliance earns the trust. Communications is what determines whether anyone outside the firm actually finds out about it.
What comes next
CySEC has spent 2025 and 2026 licensing faster than almost any regulator in the EU, and inspecting more closely than at almost any point in its history. Both are true of the same regulator in the same period. Whether a given broker’s CEO is remembered for the first fact or the second, once ESMA’s 2026 conflicts-of-interest findings are actually published, will have less to do with a press statement than with which file, compliance or communications, was genuinely in order first.

The AI Search Shift Is Here: FinancialMarkets.media Urges Fintech Clients to Get Ahead

The AI Search Shift Is Here: FinancialMarkets.media Urges Fintech Clients to Get Ahead
Barcelona, Spain | October 2026
FinancialMarkets.media (FMM) has expanded its digital marketing offering with the launch of a dedicated LLM and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) service, designed to help financial brands strengthen their visibility and credibility across the rapidly evolving AI search landscape.
The launch comes as the way consumers research financial products, services and companies undergoes a significant transformation.
Building visibility where AI is answering
FMM has developed its resources, expertise and publisher relationships to address this shift, creating bespoke campaigns designed specifically around each client’s5 brand, market and target audience.
The new service combines several elements of digital visibility, including:
- High-authority publisher inventory designed to strengthen the external trust signals surrounding a brand.
- Brand and competitor research to identify the topics, entities and answer-engine keyword phrases where clients need to establish greater authority.
- Strategic content and digital PR designed to build relevant, credible online references around the brand.
- AEO-focused campaign planning aligned with the way prospects increasingly phrase questions to AI platforms.
- Detailed reporting and monitoring, enabling clients to understand how their online visibility develops and where opportunities remain.
Rather than applying a generic AEO strategy, FMM develops campaigns around the specific positioning and commercial objectives of each financial brand.
Sergi Lopez Tomas, CEO at FinancialMarkets.media, said:
“Our agency is agile enough to manage drastic changes in digital marketing, like the ones we are seeing propelled by AI now, and we are already seeing excellent results. What we have seen is that answer engines build responses from an ecosystem of signals: authoritative sources, consistent brand information, relevant entities, expert commentary and the wider reputation of a business online. Through this offering, our clients can engineer the authority signals that give their brands a stronger foundation to be discovered, referenced and cited by AI”.
As AI-generated answers become an increasingly important gateway to information, FMM believes that financial marketers need to consider where their brand is mentioned, what it is associated with and which authoritative sources validate it.
The company’s new LLM service forms part of FMM’s broader strategy to help financial businesses adapt to the next generation of digital discovery, combining its financial media expertise and extensive publisher network with SEO, digital PR, reputation management and AEO.
Financial brands can find out more at FMM and request a bespoke LLM/AEO proposal based on their current visibility, target markets and commercial objectives.

FinancialMarkets.media Strengthens Its AEO Offering as AI Reshapes Financial Search

FinancialMarkets.media Strengthens Its AEO Offering as AI Reshapes Financial Search
FinancialMarkets.media (FMM) has launched a dedicated LLM and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) service to help financial brands build the authority and trust signals needed to increase their visibility across AI-generated answers.
The launch reflects a fundamental change in digital marketing. Until recently, the primary objective was to get a brand onto the first page of Google. Increasingly, the question being asked by marketers is different: “How do I get my company cited by ChatGPT?”
It is just one of a growing number of questions emerging as businesses attempt to understand how AI platforms discover, assess and reference brands. Other questions such as “How do I improve AI visibility?” and “Which agency specialises in AEO?” demonstrate the growing demand for specialist expertise in an area that is developing at remarkable speed.
From Google rankings to AI recommendations
FMM believes the evolution of search requires financial marketers to rethink what digital visibility means.
AI answer engines do not simply replicate traditional search results. They draw on information from across the web to construct answers, meaning a brand’s wider digital footprint, reputation, authority and the quality of the sources referencing it can all contribute to how that brand is represented.
For financial businesses in particular, trust is critical.
A brand may have a strong website and rank well for important Google searches, but if authoritative third-party sources do not reinforce its expertise and credibility, its visibility within AI-generated answers can remain limited.
FMM has therefore invested in developing its resources, publisher relationships and specialist expertise to create bespoke campaigns focused on strengthening these signals.
A bespoke approach to AI visibility
FMM’s LLM and AEO campaigns combine several areas of digital marketing to build a stronger foundation for AI visibility, including:
- High-authority inventory designed to establish credible third-party trust signals.
- Brand and competitor research identifying the topics, entities and question-based searches relevant to each client.
- Answer-engine keyword research focused on the questions potential customers are asking AI platforms.
- Strategic digital PR and content placement designed to increase authoritative references to the brand.
- Brand positioning around the subjects and areas of expertise where clients want to become recognised.
- Detailed reporting to track campaign development and changes in AI visibility over time.
The strategy is not based on simply producing more content. Instead, FMM analyses the wider information ecosystem surrounding a brand and identifies where additional authority, relevance and third-party validation can be established.
Sergi Lopez Tomas, CEO at FinancialMarkets.media, said:
“AI visibility is rapidly becoming one of the most important new battlegrounds in digital marketing. The question is no longer simply whether Google can find your website. It is whether the wider web provides enough credible evidence for an AI system to understand who you are, what you specialise in and why your brand deserves to be referenced. We are building campaigns around those signals. Our objective is to create the authority ecosystem behind the brand, rather than simply trying to optimise an individual page for an AI platform.”
A new layer of financial marketing
The launch adds LLM and AEO to FMM’s existing range of financial marketing services, including digital PR, media buying, SEO, online reputation management, influencer marketing and financial content.
FMM is now offering bespoke LLM and AEO proposals based on a client’s existing online visibility, target markets, competitors and commercial objectives.
Financial businesses looking to understand how to improve AI visibility, assess their current position or develop a strategy for increasing their chances of being referenced in AI-generated answers can find out more at FinancialMarkets.media and request a bespoke proposal.
