The advertising agency WeThink has developed a global branding campaign for the American software Company Bluebeam, dedicated to all of the people building our world.
Among other things, Bluebeam is behind Revu, a PDF-based software that optimizes the workflow between all operators involved in the construction process, through an ongoing real-time documentation and a cloud-based solution.
The award-winning Revu has more than 1.4 millions users worldwide. Bluebeam develops software programs for the construction industry. An industry, where we most often write about the architects and owners, when a new beautiful building sees the light of the day. But what about the ironworkers, the carpenters, the bricklayers and the engineers? The ones who turn dreams into reality? This campaign is a tribute to them and all the things that they have built.
Thank you, Brian
Brian is a 49-year-old travelling fitter. He lives in Denmark, has been in the industry for more than 20 years and is one of the many people behind buildings like The Royal Danish Playhouse and The Danish Opera House. Buildings that beautify the danish capital, but without us realizing that they would not exist without Brian and a thousand others in the construction industry.
In order to raise more awareness of the important work, conducted by Brian and everyone else in the construction industry, Bluebeam has chosen to praise them in a new global campaign.
“It takes great people to make great buildings”, the “hero-campaign” says, and makes use of an exciting mixture of digital medias and digital outdoor, on every Bluebeam-market worldwide. Furthermore, flat screens and outdoors on construction sites have been used, in order to thank the heroes for their great work. WeThink has been in charge of idea, development, production and the digital media strategy.
Creative Director and Partner at WeThink, Claus Møllebro commented,
Three concentrated days of shooting on several construction sites, together with movie and photo teams, has resulted in a visual picture and video base. A toolbox of video material in the highest standard, useable for storytelling for quit a long time in the future.
The collaboration with Bluebeam has been incredible, and maybe due to the fact that Creative Director from Bluebeam, Jon Setzen, has been in the advertising industry himself, he and his marketing team helped us on the set. Three amazing days with understanding carpenters, electricians, bricklayers etc. from all around the world. The campaign is very beautiful and conducted with a sure touch. I am very impressed by our young teams’ ability to cooperate in such an efficient way.
Likewise, Digital Concept Director at WeThink, Ane Young Høyer, is rather pleased with the campaign, says,
It has been a great challenge to develop Bluebeams’ digital communication strategy. I am surprised of how well the digital campaign plays together with traditional outdoor. It is probably the first time I have developed video content to flat screens in cranes and elevators on construction sites.
Senior Creative Director at Bluebeam, Jon Setzen, also expresses great satisfaction with the cooperation and campaign,
Right from the start, WeThink have been absolutely professional, understanding and efficient. They have managed to develop a strong and creative campaign and we are very satisfied with our collaboration.
Besides, it is not the first time that WeThink has worked for products in the construction industry. In this category, the bureau can count costumers as Rockwool, Milwaukee, Rockfon and Sari.
WeThink combines creativity with clever media thinking and a handful of courage to deliver results for their clients.
