Recently, Walmart announced that the company had decided to revamp its website to provide its customers a better and more modern digital shopping experience.
The retail giant now has a significant change in its website design. The company has just unveiled a completely different website than the previous one. We must admit that this has been a big step that we have been waiting for a while.
Showcasing real-life moments with unique photo shoots which users can find something from their lives, the company created a new and modern look that attracts customers’ attention. Walmart also extended the color palette and added sophisticated fonts to bring more “vibrancy and depth” to the new website.
Along with developing an entirely new look and feel, Walmart has also introduced a new section which will display top-selling products in customer’s location.
Unlike many people could think that the prices will increase with the new website redesign, Walmart’s announcement also included the company’s “commitment to offering low prices online”; which will remains as strong as ever. In fact, it’s also added that Walmart offers free and two-day shipping.
According to the blog post, Walmart is going to introduce specialty shopping experiences very soon.
Marc Lore, president and CEO of Walmart U.S. e-commerce said:
We know customers shop differently depending on what they are purchasing. Customers shopping for groceries and household essentials want to quickly re-buy what they always purchase, while those looking for a new couch want to be inspired while browsing the different options,
Walmart has already promised to continue building the customer shopping experience and bringing new opportunities for brands to tell their stories and explain their products effectively.
