Continuing its effort to follow new technologies in the digital marketing industry, Walmart has just released its new 3D Virtual Shopping Tour, allowing its customers to see curated apartments designed with different products.
Walmart‘s curated rooms showcase almost 70 items from national brands as well as the company’s private label offerings.
With the new tool, Walmart customers can click on the products that they want to learn more details about and buy them easily during their 3D journey.

In addition to its 3D Virtual Shopping Tour, Walmart has also announced that they will be introducing another new feature named “Buy the Room” in July.
The company explains this new feature as “a completely new way for customers to buy an entire look quickly and easily”.
As part of its back-to-school marketing goal, this new feature will show five curated dorm room collections including the most popular products that college students may look for.
Walmart users will be able to select a group of items to buy a complete look easily, according to the company’s statements.
Anthony Soohoo, SVP and Group General Manager for Walmart said:
While we are launching these new features for dorm rooms and small space living, we know that they could have applications elsewhere and will continue to listen to customer feedback to determine how to implement them more broadly on the site.
Walmart’s new VR tool offers a sophisticated shopping experience for its customers and also demonstrates the company’s vision for creating new digital related experiences for its customers in the future.
Walmart announced its revamped website providing its customers a better and modern digital shopping experience in May.
Along with the new features as well, it seems that the company will continue to come up with new updates in the upcoming months.
