Twitter Sends Off 2016 With #ThisHappened Video

The best platform to ‘see what’s happening in the world right now’, Twitter launched a video for the biggest moments of 2016.

The video is titled #ThisHappened and covers up all the social, political, environmental and global events that happened throughout the year.

The noticeable moments of the year presented are Presidential Election, Clinton-Trump debates, the Orlando shootings, Michelle Obama-George Bush Hug, Brexit, Rio2016, the Mannequin Challenge, the resurrection of “Game of Thrones” character Jon Snow and more. Each moment is adorned with an individual’s timely relevant and real-world Tweet.

The video also shows some major goodbyes to David Bowie, Barack Obama, Muhammad Ali, Prince and more. The video-attached tweet got thousands of shares and retweets.
