Tinder recently launched Tinder Plus, a paid service of the popular dating app and released a fascinating ad campaign to promote the service.
The dating app Tinder is going through a transformation by rolling out a paid subscription service called Tinder Plus. To promote the benefits of signing up for the the premium version, Tinder appointed the production agency MagnaCarta.tv to create a 90-second spot.
The spot structured almost like the popular one-second-a-day videos, the advert relives a young woman’s reminiscence of action-packed vacation and the ensuing holiday romances.
The ad sees a woman travelling through London, Paris, and Istanbul with two of her Tinder matches. She visits iconic landmarks in London and attends a football game with one of her right-swipes, but it seems he is not quite her type. Then she sees “Sam” whom she gets off to visit in Paris. She likes Sam, even misses him and he decides to join her in Istanbul where they have a romantic vacation.
The spot demonstrates two of Tinder Plus’ key new features: “Passport,” which lets you swipe left and right through potential matches in a city without actually being there, and the ” Rewind “, which lets users undo their last swipe if they accidentally swiped left on someone they want to get to know.
