Taco Bell Reinvents Itself With A New Website: Ta.co

Taco Bell unveils a trendier website with URL, ta.co, which allows customers to personalize their orders and pay online.

Our favorite taco house is now offering more than just the best tacos in the world; say hola to a whole new website with a cool ta.co for a URL. There’s also options to customize your taco, mess it up just the way you like and order it.

Before the new short URL ta.co (pronounced ta-dot-coh) rolled out, customers were using the tacobell.com website for brand updates and the Live Mas app for ordering and paying. The new revamped website lets you customize your tacos and order them from your computer and tablets – no apps required.

Customize your food!

For the first time ever you can customize your orders to please your palate, throw in beans on your taco, make it fresco by topping your Mexican pizza with guacamole and add cheese to anything and everything, because it belongs on as many menu items as imagination allows.

Ta.co offers you keys to the kitchen; you are now your own taco chef minus being tied to an apron and doing the grunt work in the kitchen. You can create unique menus that have never before been made.

Although, it’s quite a feat to think of combos kookier than the ones the chain currently offers, (who can beat the Doritos Locos Tacos or the AM Crunch Wrap?) but we’ve got faith in the real taco-addicts to top them!

Check out the video Taco Bell rolled out for ta.co:

Brian Niccol, Taco Bell CEO, said in a statement:

Innovation has always been a part of Taco Bell’s core, and ta.co is our latest promise to make the brand accessible whenever, wherever and however consumers want it. We use technology, design and a heavy dose of creativity to deliver on that promise, all while making our brand more relevant to digital savvy customers.

Beyond online ordering, customization and delivery, the ta.co also features a careers section, search function and a nutrition calculation (god knows we can use that).

Another upcoming section on the website called “The Feed,” will be offering the brand’s behind-the-scenes and its collaborations with trends, cultural icons and companies to curate new content about the brand.

And it doesn’t just stop here. The fast-food chain has more surprises up its sleeve; from testing delivery locations mainly around Texas and California, to launching a gamified loyalty reward program in late 2015.

All us taco fans are going to Live Más now!
