Social Media Week The Creatorverse 2023

Social Media Week The Creatorverse 2023, organised by Adweek, will take place on 16-18 May in New York.

Discover Where You Fit in the Creator Economy at Adweek’s Social Media Week: The Creatorverse
Adweek’s annual Social Media Week in the US will be held in New York City, NY, May 16–18. This presents an incredible opportunity for marketing pros, creators, and brand leaders to take a proactive step toward maximizing their social marketing campaigns. With a lineup of industry-leading speakers, including executives from the NBA, Duolingo, TikTok, Unilever, The North Face, McDonald’s, Bombas, eos and so many more, there will be in-depth discussions on how brands can develop a deeper understanding of the full scope of the creator economy, its broader economic impact and what’s driving individual creators. Keep reading for a glimpse at what you can learn at this year’s #SMW event.

Discover Creative Partnerships and Embrace Influencer Marketing
As the creator economy has grown into an industry valued at billions, influencers have built brands by letting people into the most vulnerable, authentic parts of their lives. Bayer Consumer Health’s Vice President of Brand Integration, PR and Social Media, Denise Vitola, will take the stage with their social media partner Jamie Hess of NYCFitFam to share how the corporate world can learn a thing or two from the influencers they partner with.

Reach and Engage Fans Throughout the Consumer Journey
#SMW attendees will learn how to harness the power of social media to build awareness, drive engagement and develop loyalty across every step of their consumer journey in a session with Stephanie Fried, CMO of Fandom. She’ll discuss how they connect with fans, extend 360 programs, and fuel commerce efforts. She’ll also share the social strategies Fandom uses across its platform, editorial, and commerce businesses.

Authentically Adapt Brand Messaging for Social
Translating a 360 campaign to social can be challenging—tactics need to differ in order for a brand to feel authentic to consumers. Marketers must re-imagine how brand and campaign themes resonate on social to ensure their creativity and messaging are effective in engaging consumers. Jessica Grigoriou, head of beauty marketing at Unilever will team up with Evan Horowitz, CEO and co-founder of its creative agency Movers + Shakers, to share how they successfully translated TRESemmé’s campaigns to be socially native, racking in 63 million views and counting.
