Season’s Greetings By Ad Agencies – Creative Holiday Cards For 2017

Christmas ads took over the entire months of November and December, as its the season of the year,
but so did holiday greetings

When we investigated the advertising agencies that were creators behind all these masterpieces, Christmas ads, they also crafted their holiday messages with the most effective and fun concepts. From their point of view, after the client work is done, they’re happy to share their own agency holiday cards.

Let’s all take a look at the best Christmas greetings below!

215 McCann / Cookies Well Baked

215 McCann presents the drawings of their agency’s employees and turned them into real, edible cookies! The face-shaped cookies are for the recipients and they them to a stop-motion video which explains the baking process. If you want to watch the whole celebration-video, you can have it here.

Anomaly / “Dear Satan”

Anomaly’s famous Christmas video is narrated by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who created the dystopian-scenario that features “The 12 Days of Christmas”.  The humor of edge runs in this year’s story, in which the mistaken letter goes to Satan – instead of “Santa” and asks questions about his life in hell. Narrated by Patrick Stewart, “Dear Satan” tells the tale of a girl who accidentally sends the letter.

charlieuniformtango / The Gang Makes a Christmas Video

A  brief video when agency people start drinking booze and capture the fun while taking a video for Christmas! Charlieuniformtango is a production company run by six people, and eventually things get out of control fast. In the video, there are great visual effects to capture all the fun!

DiMassimo Goldstein / #SitOutSantaCon

Gathering people dressed like Santa Claus in bars, in different cities around the world. However, after a while, the kids are witnessing all the people who dressed up like Santa are all misbehaving… DiMassimo Goldstein’s anti-Santa campaign features posters that are downloadable, gifs, moving PSA and a website.

Elemental Inc. / Manger Things

A popular greeting from Elemental Inc. to create a Stranger Things – turned Manger Things holiday video. They mashed up Stranger Things and the nativity scene, and it comes as Manger Things.

Grey London / Hyrrs

A complete album of feminist Christmas carols, Grey London celebrates the holiday with their custom-written song lyrics. . Instead of using hymns, they intend to use “hyrrs” (as opposed to hymns) and their choice was Deck The Halls. They also sell their album on hyrrsnothymns.com to raise money for women in need, in collaboration with Goldstein Music.

Magnum Opus Partners / “Don’t have a stock-standard Christmas this year”

The Australian agency, Magnum Opus Partners’ Christmas video is inspired from a family dinner. Created from a very bad stock footage, a voiceover ridicules the scene and encourages people to have at least a moderate standard of holiday this year.

We’ll be posting more while the cards keep coming. Wishing you a very merry Christmas!
