The Responsive Logos project by Joe Harrison, creating scalable and responsive logos of Coca-Cola, Nike, Bang & Olufsen and Levi’s, shows us how popular brand logos can be effectively and considerately reproduced, on the responsive web, and in general, a mobile friendly environment.
Responsive design is simply the readjustment of the layout of a website according to the screen it is being viewed on.
In each of these responsive logo designs the logo goes through a sequence of “shrinking stages”, creating a new logo lock-up for each new reduced browser window size. With each reduction in the browser width, the new logo adjusts concerning the rules of the original brand identity.
