The Challenges

Before developing the project, Promodex identified the main tasks that needed to be implemented:


1. Perform a multi-factor analysis of the IT industry to determine the needs of the market and work out the concept of a full-fledged ecosystem for the chosen niche.
2. Develop an IT ecosystem concept that will be useful for each of the market players: from the owner of an IT company to its potential client, or a teacher of training courses.
3. Perform a comprehensive development of all functional sections of the IT-Rating ecosystem.
4. Work out the UI/UX of the IT-Rating portal to ensure the most comfortable user interaction with the project.
5. Develop the design of the IT-Rating portal, including all related materials: brand book, media kit, and post templates for design on all popular social networks such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
6. Technical implementation of the IT-Rating ecosystem, including the front part of the project and the user’s personal account, which is a huge functional part of the project.
7. To ensure the promotion of the project on the Internet and help to come to a leading position in the market.

The Process

The Promodex team decided to implement the project in the following stages:

1. Perform niche and competitor analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses.
2. Analyze the World market to identify the most responsive audience.
3. Create a project concept and work out a complete ecosystem.
4. Perform analysis of search queries to compile the semantic core of the website.
5. Create a site structure based on the semantic core.
6. Work out the UI/UX of the project based on the analytics.
7. Implement website design following the brand book and modern web design trends.
8. Implement the required work pool on the front-end and back-end parts.
9. Develop a personal user account, allowing companies to work in any part of the IT-Rating ecosystem.
10. Test the project, including load tests, usability, performance, and security.
11. To promote the project, giving priority to the development of the project in the US market.


Deliverables & Impacts

The Promodex team implemented a turnkey solution within 240 working days: from the client’s request to the implementation of the website and its launch. At the moment, active work continues on the project, which includes both technical support and marketing services for the active promotion of the project.

1. The site is in the PageSpeed Insights green zone, which was an essential parameter for the site’s SEO optimization.
2. According to the test results, a group of the target audience spoke positively about the usability of the site. its structure and atmosphere. Promodex received 93% positive feedback.
3. Due to the high-quality optimization of the website, in the first 3 months, the site got more than 200 unique users per day from the search platforms.
4. 6 months after the development of the website, Promodex managed to attract more than 2,300 IT companies and startups to the ecosystem, mainly from the USA.

The Audience

The target audience of the project is very multifaceted and multifactorial. Every person who in one way or another comes into contact with IT technologies can find the section they need within the IT-Rating ecosystem. The presence of such an extensive target audience makes the project extremely demanding for marketing since it is necessary to form and implement its marketing strategy for each target group.


A team of 19 people took part in the project implementation: project managers (1x Senior and 1x Middle), business analyst (2x Senior), marketer, UI/UX specialist, SEO specialist (1x Senior, 1x Middle), front-end developer (1x Senior, 2x Middle), back-end developer (1x Senior, 2x Middle), and QA specialists (3x Middle), content managers (2x Middle).

The site was developed using the Laravel Framework, as this platform meets all technical requirements and customer preferences.
