WordPress Developer

Description:

KOTA create industry-leading websites. We offer support packages and look after over 50 websites supporting our clients with enhancements, bug fixes and security. We call this our ‘SiteCare’.

We are looking for an experienced developer to be responsible for our SiteCare (both back-end and front-end development), including creating WordPress websites.

You will be:

• Implementing new features and functionality across multiple websites
• Securing and updating existing websites
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Build smaller projects using frameworks or from the ground up
• Liaising with a project manager on a daily basis via Slack

Requirements:

• Ability to build full websites from the ground up
• Ability to jump between different coding set ups and environments
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools e.g Git
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development and Javascript
• A good solid experience level in an agency environment
• Minimum 3 years WordPress Experience
• Great communication

Desirable:

• Eye for design / design experience
• Experience with React
