Social Media 55 is looking for a Video Production/Editor to join their team in Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute video shoots, including lighting, sound, and camera setup
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts for video projects
- Edit raw footage into engaging and polished videos that align with the company\’s brand and messaging
- Select and add appropriate music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the video
- Optimize videos for different platforms and devices, including social media, websites, and email campaigns
- Maintain video equipment and ensure that it is in good working condition
- Manage video production schedules and deadlines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to ensure that our video content is cutting-edge and effective

Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree in film, video production, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in video production and editing
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro
- Experience with camera operation, lighting, and sound recording
- Strong creative skills and the ability to think outside the box
- Excellent communication skills
