Summary / Overview:

A Sales Executive is responsible for building business success by identifying, qualifying and closing prospects. The Sales Executive will identify the goals and current challenges of potential clients, and win business by aligning our solutions with their needs Additionally, the Sales Executive will strive to maintain good relationships with existing Clients and the sales team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ability to build and maintain a sales pipeline, and close new business opportunities
• Develop a sales plan for meeting individual quotas, and have a personal accountability for identifying and closing new revenue opportunities
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
• Build personal networks and spheres of influence in order to grow prospect lists
• Utilize a consultative selling approach – candidate must possess the ability to understand potential clients’ need and challenges, and align that with BFO solutions and value
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Client Services) to communicate requirements and opportunities for prospects
• Responsible for development and creation of any and all sales materials, including presentations, proposals, RFP responses, contracts, pricing and negotiation
• Responsible for providing accurate forecasting and financial information as required
• Must document activity and forecasting in HubSpot and other internal sales tools
• Creating, managing, and updating sales templates to ensure they reflect up-to-date services
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, client meetings, networking opportunities, and participate in internal company events

Additional Responsibilities:

• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skill Requirements & Core Competencies:

• Candidate must be: coachable, driven, proactive, and have 3-4 years of experience
• Experience in strategic planning and execution
• Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
• Proven experience in structuring sales quota goals and exceeding revenue expectations
• Have excellent professional written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, organization, and follow through
• Experience in selling with ROI and value-based sales models
• Demonstrate familiarity with executive selling situations (VP & C-level contacts) at mid- to enterprise level companies
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects
• Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
• Demonstrated problem solving/analysis skills
• Possess an attitude of teamwork and relationship building, both internally and externally
• Willingness to travel

Key Competencies

• 2 – 3 years SEO experience (required)
• Firm understanding of SEO best practices
• Knowledge of search engine algorithms
• Knowledge of content marketing guidelines
• Technical knowledge of website architecture (HTML, CSS, XML, JS)
• Knowledge of web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.)
• Proficient with keyword research/data mining tools and competitive analysis
• High-competency level in MS Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
• Analytical thinker and problem solver
• Project Planning/Management Capabilities

Working Conditions:

• Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
