Project Manager

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will play an integral role in supporting your team and presenting recommendations to clients. You are tasked with coordinating a wide range of digital campaigns for some of the best brands in Canada and the USA. You will manage multiple projects and multiple clients.

  • Planning out the blueprints for projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance
  • Manage scoping of client projects, timelines, schedules and cost estimates, ensuring each project stays on schedule and hits deadlines
  • Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines
  • Creating a project budget and ensuring the project adheres to the budget as closely as possible
  • Determining and overseeing consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting with the team and client in all stages through completion
  • Tracking milestones, deliverables, and change requests
  • Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information with the internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Delivering completed products and performing regular checks on the performance
  • Establish strong relationships with all teams and clients
  • Estimate and manage project timelines with quotable task breakdowns, steps and resources
  • Lead strategic meetings, and presentations
  • Provide campaign insights to internal and external teams
  • Keep meticulous documentation
  • Manage and update cost estimates and timelines, flagging issuance of Change Requests when required
  • Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions and escalate when needed
  • Lead regular project huddles with the project team, communicating roles, timelines and deliverables, ensuring that expectations are set
  • Ensure all stakeholders have the most up-to-date project assets and that project documentation is kept up-to-date
  • Maintain weekly status reports, to be shared with the Accounts Director, Clients and other stakeholders as required
  • Source and manage appropriate 3rd party contractors as needed
  • Coordinate and lead weekly project status meetings
  • Monitor invoicing
  • Lead the development and execution of account plans
  • Oversee the preparation of financial documents regarding project financials
  • Run full-cycle management of client expectations
  • Champion quality of work delivered to clients
  • Manage relationships and service existing clients
  • Acting as the internal and external go-to person for all project-related items
  • Assembling and leading the project team
  • Participating in and supervising each stage of the project

Skills + Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience working as a project manager, preferably for the advertising industry
  • Experience working with advertising platforms and managing campaigns through Google Ads
  • Strong knowledge of project estimation techniques and ability to motivate team members
  • Knowledge of the marketing and advertising landscape, industry platforms, and associations
  • Excellent organization, project management, decision making, and leadership skills
  • The ability to navigate budgets and forecasts within the context of client projects and campaigns
  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail & multi-tasking skills
  • Previous leadership, decision making and organizational skills
  • Proven experience in project management and software development

  • PMP certification is a nice to have, but not required
  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field
