The Strategy department leads the initial phase of a project where business goals and digital solutions meet. It is the Strategists’ role to analyze the competitive landscape, target audience, clients’ business model, and create salient recommendations for both client edification and project execution.

The primary focus of strategies are on business modeling, branding, content, website, and conversions, working in close collaboration with the IA, design, and marketing teams. They also support the BD team in sales calls, RFPs, and presentations.

Who You Are:

• At least 3 years of agency experience working in a fast paced environment
• Extensive experience and understanding of both B2B and B2C businesses and monetization strategies across a variety of industries and verticals
• Understanding of creative branding, including positioning, messaging, and visual design
• Knowledge of the website development process including some UX/IA experience for creating high level site maps and wireframes, as well digital design sensibilities
• Practitioner knowledge of online (SEO, SEM, Paid, Social) and offline marketing channels and the confidence to make results-focused recommendations
• An agile, spontaneous thinker with the ability to both lead presentations to clients and internal teams as well as manage/handle issues in a professional manner
• Strong ability to identify and integrate upsell opportunities where applicable
• Proficiency across multiple programs:
– Microsoft Office, particularly PPT
– Google Analytics required, SEMRush preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Develop actionable insights from a wide variety of data sources: analysis of client, competitive, industry, analytics, and past experiences
• Identify and conduct interviews with client stakeholders to find answers to challenges, limitations and opportunities in client businesses not covered in Kick off
• Actively seek out trends and customer insights, maintaining a finger to the pulse of existing and emerging technologies across the digital landscape
• Consult and collaborate across multiple departments including Information Architecture, Design and Account Management teams
• Support Sales team on pitches, RFIs, RFPs, and participate in sales calls and presentations
• Conceive of and present Strategy milestones/thought leadership ideas to company-wide workshops periodically
