Instagram shortly introduced the new feature which allows users to bring friends into their live videos, which makes the platform more visual.
Hey, want to hang out live with a friend? The best-known photo gallery of social media is now also eager to provide a live-stream video service. It announced the new feature the other day, which helps users to invite anyone to their usual lives.
To use Go Live feature, the platform tells users to simply tap the new icon on the bottom right and tap “Add” to invite anyone who’s currently watching. Once they join, you’ll see the splitted screen and your friend will pop up right below you.
If you want, you can also remove your guest and add someone else at any time, or they can also choose to end the session on their own. Plus, there’s a chance to share your live video to stories when your broadcast has ended, or choose “Discard” and your live video will disappear from the app as usual.
When someone you follow is going live with a friend, you’ll see two circles stacked together in your stories bar. To engage or involve, you can tap on it to watch, and like and comment as you follow along.
It may seem like just a simple upgrade for now, but we all trust the power of Instagram and it would be a fantastic thing to have a chance to catch up on your whole list, and maybe build new connections.
