The ad features everybody and the phone has every feature thinkable!
Are you the type of person who is asking for more? Google’s new commercial for the Pixel 2 smartphone is the one that’ll keep you satisfied. Directed by Ian Pons Jewell and created by Droga5 New York and Bartle Bogle Hegarty UK, the 2 minute spot is all about questions and answers, in a quick-quick attitude with a variety of celebrities and influencers such as David LaChapelle, Salt Bae, Michael Fish, Dua Lipa, Rapper Young MA, and more.
The spot has a ton of funny moments such as the “Storage full” notification to mock iPhones again and the low-light camera features on the digital billboards, asking ‘Did my nightlife just get brighter?’ Moreover, it features the guy who turns the light on and off — and on and off like a million times. There’s a lot to say but the Salt Bae killed it by responding to a girl who asked him to call her bae, or text her bae, he pinches salt and asked if it happens without using hands.
Let us leave you with the video and the wonderful gallery of snapshots because every single detail is impeccably perfect.
The commercial has its own style and is not like other smartphone ads, which is an important point.
Google innovations help them try new things in common projects, but they reflect this in their own products as well.
