Google has launched a new social campaign inviting app makers to share their dreams and stories using #IMakeApps hashtag.
There are five #IMakeApps films telling the stories of app owners who also have different skills and areas of interests for now.
Calling all developers, founders, product managers, designers and others making apps and games to share their dreams and passion, Google also encourages them to fill out the self-nomination form to be able to get featured in an upcoming #IMakeApps film which will be produced again by them.
The criteria that Google is looking for this opportunity are shared as follow:
• You are directly involved in the actual app or game creation. You could be a developer, founder, designer, product manager, etc.
• Your app or game is available on Android and Google Play.
• You do other cool things, besides working on your app or game. Anything that is interesting, inspiring, exciting or potentially unexpected.
Patricia Correa, Director of Developer Marketing, Platforms and Ecosystems at Google, said:
We are humbled by the accomplishments of our app makers and how they inspire and innovate on our platforms. With this campaign, we would like to celebrate them not just for their work but mainly for who they are.
Gramafilm Director and Co-founder, Algor Lieman, said:
The idea we presented to Google was to deliver a campaign that reached out to everyone who is part of the Android community, both app makers and app users. #IMakeApps leaves aside the tech and centres on telling the real human stories that bind us all together.
In case you want to keep watching the upcoming #IMakeApps campaign films, you can find them on YouTube, across Google and Android channels and social media platforms.
