The Facebook Awards (formerly the Facebook Studio Awards) celebrate top creative work on Facebook and, for the first time, on Instagram campaigns too.
This is the fourth year Facebook is hosting the ad awards. Historically, the Facebook Awards considered campaigns published on Facebook only. This year Facebook Awards will also consider work on Instagram, under the Craft category.
Advertisers can enter six categories and criteria. These are;
- Integrated Campaign
- Social technology
- Media Strategy
- Facebook for Good
- New Frontiers
Judges will weigh the core insight that drove the campaign, the value the content offered the consumer, and how well it met the proposed business objectives.
Submissions are now open for the 2015 Facebook Awards, until March 31, 2015, and winners will be announced later this summer. Also this year’s competition has some exciting updates for advertisers.
