DDB Brussels developed an app, Epicgram, for music videos recorded in the classical music festival called B-Classic.
Epicgram is an app which was developed to make the videos more fun and splendid. While DDB Brussels developed the app for the festival, the app became more popular than the real event, so it created an impression.
The classical music festival which averages 45 year-olds called B-Classic is trying to change the perception for this music genre. In an attempt to prove that not just the old and boring people listen to classical music, DDB collaborated with the festival to create an app called Epicgram.
With its so many mesmerizing features, Epicgram can record videos and play them in slow-motion, with classical music in the background. Users can even broadcast their videos on the live platform.
B-Classic tries to pull down the age average for the festival. Inspired by Instagram and Snapchat, the brand got the idea and created the video-app. Users also can add dramatic, melancholic and epic background music themes customized for their own video.
Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach, Chopin, Tchaikovsky and more are archived on Epicgram’s database, users also connect to Spotify and iTunes via the classical music recording label Alpha Classics.
DDB Brussels won 2 Bronze Lions for Epicgram in 2016 Cannes Lions Festival.
