To mark their association with Premier League soccer club, Liverpool FC for 25 years, Carlsberg created a special beer that gets affected by sound, light and energy.
Carlsberg and Liverpool FC attempted a unique experiment that includes a very abstract concept. The main idea is to create a beer that is infused with “energies” and sounds of the football club and their fans. The project is created and developed by Crispin Porter + Bogusky Copenhagen and directed by James Godfrey.
The research exposed that plants are affected by not only just light, but also vibrations, sound and energies. Therefore, by using LCD-screens in a custom greenhouse, scientists grew hop plants to five-meters-tall and placed them in Liverpool FC matches’ sounds and videos from 25 years, along with the sounds of supporters’ screams. The experiment went on for 24 hours-a-day for six months. The hops were also visited by Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp, and famous players such as Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman.
Let’s watch the video of the experiment, here:
The special-edition beer will be out in special pubs and at the Liverpool FC’s match with Hudderfield Town on October 28.
This insanely amazing project still sounds like a dream, but its actually reality. Lucky that we have free-spirited people in the world.
