Momkai created a new website for Dutch stroller brand Bugaboo with the aim of creating a playful combination of user experience and shopping convenience.
The Dutch mobility brand Bugaboo revolutionised the world of stroller design, starting some 15 years ago and continues to do so today. As part of an ongoing and longstanding collaboration, Amsterdam-based design studio Momkai was asked to create the strategy, design and front-end of the new Bugaboo website and app, with the aim of creating a playful combination of user experience and shopping convenience for parents around the world.
When visiting Bugaboo.com, the interactive configurator immediately stands out. The website shows photo-realistic 3D models of the strollers from every angle and with a ‘configurator’ allows visitors to personalise their product with different materials, colours and accessories. This makes the tool an important addition to the website.
The new Bugaboo website is user friendly and it offers potential customers a rich and easy-to-navigate experience, getting as close to the products as digitally possible.
In addition to the website, the Bugaboo Passport app was launched for iPhone and Android phones.
The app gives owners of a Bugaboo stroller the chance to get the most out of their product with clever how-to’s and assembly guides. The registration of the stroller is super simple and adds an extra year to the product warranty.
