Budweiser Shows Off America’s Brewing History And More In Their Global Branded Documentary
Budweiser is deep diving into branded content with a brewing history documentary that takes a real-life look at the brewing process.
Titled “Kings of Beer”, the documentary film is created by Ace Content, which is the sister company to Budweiser agency Anomaly, and centers on a group of elite brewmasters from 65 breweries and 23 countries, following them as they battle it out in an intense competition to brew the best American Lager. It features also the cameos from beer masters Aisha Tyler, Jay Chandrasekhar and Michael Voltaggio.
Producer Justin V. Barocas, CEO of Ace Content, says,
Kings of Beer is a story about regular people from all over the world who dreamed of becoming brewmasters and who share an uncompromising ambition to be the best at their craft. We found their stories to be incredibly inspiring and we think that anyone who wants to be the best at what they do will love these characters too.
Pete Kraemer, Budweiser’s Chief Global Brewmaster who also appears in the film, also says in the announcement,
Kings of Beer is a special film, not only because of Budweiser’s role in America’s brewing history, but because for the first time we are able to offer audiences a seat in our tasting room for a firsthand look at our very personal and competitive process. We hope this film will shed light on the complexity of brewing and inspire more brewmasters to come.
The documentary is available online via iTunes, and plus, the film, directed by Sean Mullin is being shown in select theaters in Canada and the US. The company is hoping that there are enough brewmasters out there who will definitely watch!
