Brita introduces the brand’s new ambassador Stephen Curry in the “Drink Amazing” campaign.
Brita, producer of water filters & filtration systems, signed a three-year contract with Stephen Curry, who is considered to be the greatest shooter in NBA history.
Stephen Curry said in the statement:
Drinking water is essential to a healthy lifestyle. Water is my drink. I like that Brita makes tap water taste good, so you don’t need to spend money or waste plastic with bottled water.
The campaign was created by DDB – worldwide advertising agency responsible for Brita’s TV, digital and print work.
In the spot, Stephen Curry’s moves create beautiful water splash effects while he plays basketball.
Together with the campaign, Stephen Curry and Brita announced Splash Studio – a program and contest which is part of Brita’s efforts to get people to choose water.
The contest is about creating original commercial for drinking water. Winner will receive $25,000 and the chance to recreate the advertisement with a cameo from Curry himself. Brita will then take the winning commercial to air on TV at the start of the 2016-2017 basketball season. The contest will run till May 31.
