BBC launched BBC Taster to showcase a range of editorial and technical projects, and provide a chance for users to give feedback on the ideas they like the most.
BBC Taster is a new online interactive service that features experimental ideas for digital content and technologies across TV, radio and online, including interactive and social projects. BBC will use Taster as a testing ground for new projects, with the experiments uploaded and featured on the site for three months.
During the initial three months, users will be able to test out the projects and provide them with a star rating, or answer specific questions that the creators might want to know. Taster allows BBC to develop programmes and serve better for the BBC audience. BBC will gain feedback from users and use them to produce new ideas according to the opinions of users with Taster.
