Apple Now Has An Official Instagram Account To Celebrate iPhone Photographers

This week, Apple launched a long-time awaited Instagram account — it is an unexpectedly artsy one.

Unlike all the other brands, Apple joined the popular network not just to promote its products, advertise or make announcements. The purpose of their account is quite cool, they will exclusively feature photos and videos by only using the iPhone. But the trick is, the photos will be taken by the artists who only shoot pictures by Apple.

The explanation of the brand’s account just tells us all, which says “Welcome to @apple. Tag #ShotoniPhone to take part.”

With each post, Apple will curate and credit directly back to the artist. Shot on iPhone images get featured mostly in outdoor advertising. You can find the full TVC here. So from now on, Instagram users can take photos and tag #ShotOnIphone to have them considered for curation.

This will ensure that mobile photography will get better and better.

We bet this simple yet colorful Instagram page will be a regular inspiration especially for those who #ShotOniPhone.
